Textra Emoji - Android Oreo Style

Thank you for this. Thank you for including not just straight emojis. But also clowns, same sex couples, dogs, cats and even policemen and the British gaurd. It's nice when a texting app realizes that there are more than just one type of person that uses emojis. From all of us around the world, we thank you for recognizing that there is more to life than simple ignorance. Practice, pray and be well.

Ok, lets get down to the nitty gritty. What not many of your users understand is that Unicode is device specific. This app works as intended but it's advertised under false pretenses. Why? You ask, I'll tell you why. This gives you (the user) the ability to pick and choose the style of the Emojis they wish to use. Now that's cool and all but see the problem is that the target device shows the Emojis but not the receiving device. I sent a message from my One plus 3T with every emoji to my Samsung Galaxy s6 edge and to my (not so surprise) the Emojis showed up as the receiving devices Unicode specifies. So basically, I can see it on my screen when I send it but the receiving device will always show what it's Unicode specifies. Note this in your description. You give the keyboard the power of Android O Emojis but they still show as blobs on other devices. Not cool and a definite 1 star worthy app until you clearly state that it only shows the Emojis style on the target device but not the recipients device. Please, don't tell me to update my feedback either. This is a honest review.

Works great! All the emojis are there as far as I can tell and they look great! I'm glad Google is getting rid of those horrible blobs!

OK I know I'm going to catch a lot of heat for this, but for the first time can someone make emojis without same sex characters holding hands and kissing, I am tired of seeing homosexual garbage everywhere, textra I am willing to pay for that stuff to be removed I don't mind paying for your app same I wouldn't mind paying for a clean set of emojis.call me whatever but that's my opinion. Thank you

Looks great. Probably my favorite style of emojis now. I love that textra gives us the ability to choose our emoji style.

After installing restart phone and emojis will show.
