Textra Emoji - Android Blob Style

I'm glad to finally see google emojis that are not blobs. Thanks Dev team for providing via Textra. Your innovations are one of the reasons I like this app so much. Additionally, it is this type innovation that causes me to stick with Textra. Keep up the great work, & I'll continue to use the app...just waiting on stickers.

Not sure what's going on, but I can't change my emojis skin tone and I'm missing a lot of the emojis it shows in the pictures. Pretty disappointed, not sure if it's my phone or the app.

Love this app! I just got a new phone and I didn't waste time replacing the default messaging app with Textra because I love it so much. Great selection of emojis, customizable color themes and sounds.

I love the blob emojis! Too bad they can't replace the system default on my S8 outside of the app.

Its really an amazing app. I love it. But I dont know what happened. My pop up notification is no longer working. Please help me out

See guys it's an Plug-in as mentioned in the description. Therefore, for you to make it work, Textra SMS app has to be installed on the device prior to this.

Ever since OS updated to 7.1, I can't voice text. It's creates an audio file. I just want to text when I can't use my hands...any suggestions

Is this supposed to be used with another app? I don't understand how to use it. Crappy and not user friendly

Just got a galaxy s8 and the awful Samsung emoji render instead of my beloved blobs. Is there a fix to this?

This app is actually better than the original emoji. I enjoy having options.

These emojis and the Oreo emojis don't work. They don't even show up in my list of emojis styles to select from.

more variety and better expression/definitions... love it!... reckon it's an uplifting zip in your day to receive an emoji that's animated...kool ????

They were introduced with jellybean and they are jellybean people. Seriously, ask Google.

I love this app more and more with each update and have gotten more than my money's worth from purchasing the app. The recent improvements put it tops for me. I've always had Nexus phones and high hopes for Hangouts that never came to fruition and Messenger isn't much better. For whatever reason my Nexus phone with those apps had difficulty texting with iPhones, especially in a group text. This has been the best functioning and most customizable app for me. I prefer an all black everything theme approach to my text. The options available are great. The all white looks sweet too. I'd buy this app again.

I can't use this app at all. When I try to scroll through the emojis, the app freezes and then crashes. Every time. This sucms hecause I've been using Textra for years and loved having the emojis... :(

As many others have noted, while this plugin adds missing emojis, it also changes the style of ALL THE EXISTING ONES. Definitely not a good thing - uninstalled.

Personally I love their UI. It's so clean and simple, nothing flashy but not too plain. I love their features so far but I wish they could include read receipts , but I heard they can't do it on a third party app or something like that. Only thing that bugs me is how I eventually get ads lol.

Unlike other emoji packs, these ones were fun, cute, and looked good... Now they updated and gave me boring ones that have lost their charm. I want the old marshmallow style back, or the option for them. Until then 1 star only.

I originally rated this as 5 stars, because it was the only way to get the nice Android style emojis. These are still shown in the screenshots but that's misleading because this add-on now contains a newer set that is flat and boring. Why anyone would think it's a good idea to change these after people got used to the old ones is beyond me. But at least offer a legacy option. Until then, I can't recommend this add-on, although I still like Textra itself.

Why did you change the style of these emoji? At least offer a legacy bundle for people who want the old style. Annoying

I use this app because I have a Samsung phone with god awful looking emojis. This app was perfect until literally just now. My emojis have been replaced, and now they're nearly as bad as the Samsung ones. I'll be happy to update my review to five stars if this is rectified.

Was pretty disappointed to suddenly find the emojis were changed/updated to Nougat style. I'm sure others are quite annoyed by this. I hope there will be a possibility to add an optional Marshmallow style emoji in the near future. Still an awesome add-on though.
