Fluency Tutor™ for Google lets students practice and record pre-assigned reading passages – at their own pace, and in their own time.
This easy-to-use app makes reading aloud more fun and satisfying for even your most reluctant students. It’s also great for early readers and individuals learning English as a second language.

Using Fluency Tutor™ for Google, teachers can pick reading passages based on content, lexile level or reading age that are shared with individual students or groups via Google Drive.

Students practice and record assigned passages on their tablet in a relaxed environment, at school or at home. Just tap and hold to learn more about a word: extra help’s provided with friendly dictionary, picture dictionary and translate tools.

An easy-to-use dashboard lets students review previous recordings and see the teacher’s feedback on earlier reading passages.

Teachers can review students’ completed recordings at any time on their own PC, Mac or Chromebook. The premium version of Fluency Tutor™ for Google lets teachers accurately assess recorded passages for word accuracy, hesitation and other metrics using an easy-to-use scoring system. Teachers can also make use of powerful analytical tools and see students’ progress over time with graphs and scores.
