Permissions of TeslaLED are short and simple:
CAMERA - Required to use the camera flash on most devices. The camera flash is attached to the camera, hence the permission. This is not to take photos or record video.
FLASHLIGHT - Required to use the camera flash on some older devices
WAKE_LOCK - Optional, to allow to keep the screen on
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW - Helps widget responsiveness on some devices
Finally someone put some thought into what you can do with a flashlight app. I lot the strobe light for riding my bike at night or walking in the dark. The red/blue flasher is good when broke down on a road. I wonder what else could be added?
Nice app! I had somewhat high expectations, but was quickly disappointed. None of the features worked! So, I uninstalled it, re-installed it, powered my phone off and now it works fine.
When I first downloaded and installed this it was absolutely great and I gave it five stars. But my phone just upgraded to the Marshmallow operating system and it no longer works at all. When I try to use it, it crashes and offers the option of sending a report. Done that twice but no change yet. Please fix.
This was my go to flash light app but since my HTC m8 updated from lollipop to marshmallow the app just crashes on opening
Has clever features I didn't know I wanted. I like the (optional!) momentary switch feature which only shines the camera flash while your finger is on the screen. And ya gotta love no ads. I think I'll dig in my couch cushions for a dollar to send them just for no ads.
Had a boatload of trouble with this app. Happy to find a flashlight app that didn't require a litany of permissions, but isn't compatible with the droid maxx. Would work intermittently when I launched the settings page, but over all inconsistent & unreliable.
I still have it 4 stars because I have use this app for about 5 years on my last phone with no issues
fast, small, no ad, nice design ...but why the hell it switch off randomly approximately 10 seconds after I switch it on (in settings I set auto off after 5 minutes)...I love and hate this app (please correct this unlogical bug cause this app deserves it)...this problem is just with the shortcut (I set gesture in nova launcher to activate shortcut-toggle)... after correction 5 stars (I bought the nova launcher what is your product and it is the best on the market).
One of the few that takes up little memory and stays on after phone display turned off and locks. However, it doesn't work on my new Droid Turbo :(
I've used quite a few flashlight apps, and this one is my favorite. It doesn't require a bunch of permissions to work, it has the option to put a widget on the screen, so I don't have to open the app and have it use my screen to tell me I am using the flashlight app, and there are no ads. The only con I can think of is that there is a tiny, yet noticeable delay after turning it on. If that were fixed to be instant it would be the ideal flashlight app for me.
The widget continually turns the light off but keeps the icon on in the notification tray. Kinda annoying when you're in the middle of doing something and the light keeps turning itself off.
No ads..easy to use.. And simple Ui. Love it.
Not so keen on the police light effects..
Absolutely amasing phone app. Simple, easy to use, bright phone flashlight. Have used countless of times. Unlike the other 1's like this. Tesla l.e.d. NEVER asks for ur entire phone identity. Just camera thats it. Has never failed or disappointed when needed. definitely buy the tesla led settings. Its $1.00 & lets the user tweak it.

works great on kitkat. simple. only permission is camera access. no ads! easily accessed features, although most will never be used. still, the best led flashlight app i found.
This flashlight app IS NOT malware. Beware the permissions for other apps. They steal your data.
Works on my Galaxy S2. I like the optional hold-to-light feature and the ability to reorder the pages or disable them. I also like the screen only mode with variable brightness for those situations where I need a little light without draining the battery. Not sure if I'll ever need the SOS or police mode, but they're kinda cool. And no ads! I may have to donate.
This is one of those must have apps. 1) Everything works 2) The permissions are good (ie. doesn't make network ports or access phone calls.) 3) It has a home screen widget, that you can even customize icon, and a timer so you don't drain your battery. Has all the bonus SOS and police lights stuff that I might use one day for fun. This is the best flashlight app for Android. Donating right now.
Most flashlight apps are the same and work good, but this one WOW!!! This flashlight is quick nice plus u get widgets that look as if it is a default phone app NICE!!! Best flashlight app so far
The native flashlight app on my HTC Sensation won't work if the battery falls below 30% -- this little app is a perfect workaround! I love the touch activated setting (very helpful when crossing the street) includes toggle widgets, and can be customized to suit your preferences. Not too simple or too complicated. This is WORTH a dollar!
No ads, tons of features, tons of compatibility options, and most importantly no ads. Seriously don't waste your time with the others
My only complaint is it makes my phone super hot when in use. Upwards of 120 degrees usually. Other than that, I prefer this over almost any other flashlight app. P.S. - Could you maybe add support for 4.2 lockscreen? Would be an awesome feature.
Works great, but widget takes a good 7 seconds to turn on. That's no good when I'm in the dark... 5 stars when that time comes down. Tiny flashlight + led works much faster and has more features + nicer looking widget
acts like an old florescent bulb needing to warm up before it works on my GS3
I never thought a flashlight app would actually impress me until i came across this one. Very well done! The different modes are very creative... and the strobe is a great add on!
I tried multiple different phone light apps begir this and this ine is by far the best. It doesnt ask permission for any kind of information and is easy to use.
Completely locks up if the screen rotates. The light will turn off, but the app still thinks it's on. Has to be killed manually. There are plenty of better flashlight apps.
Fully featured torch light. Don't think I can expect anything more than this. Morse code is cool too.
Only flashlight app I have ever used. Works flawlessly and never annoys me with ads or malfunctions. Love it. I use it.
Maybe it was just a glitch, but its working on my m8 now... Yay!! Best light app ever
Too complicated... I prefer a flashlight app with one feature. This has more fun features that get in the way.
The only thing I wish it had was a feature that turned the light off when I pressed the home button. That would make this the ABSOLUTE BEST flashlight app EVER!
Nice and simple, no ads or stupid invasive permissions, it just works. Some nice extra modes available and a simple widget. Unfortunately it keeps the screen on my Nexus 4 on, displaying the lock screen, if I try to turn it off. Not a big deal at all.
This was my favorite flashlight app. After I upgraded to android 4.4 it stopped working. I emailed the developer a few months ago but never heard anything. Please fix this for android 4.4!
This was my replacement for the old HTC Flashlight app the original HTC Evo offered. This has a similar Sense-like widget as well as a few other widgets. It works 100% of time. The thing I really love about this application is unlike other flashlight apps, this has no crazy permissions. Thanks for making such a great free alternative!
This is by far the best looking widget for a torch. But it's just too slow. I've had to settle with the standard 'assistive light' widget which works instantly, but is too big. Please remove the lag and this will be perfect!
It would be good if the widget just turned the light on. Also a yellow hazard screen similar to the police light would be good for places (uk) where it's illegal to display red and blues.
App is smaller than the native led app. More choice and easy to use with Widget Locker. Can be laggy at times hence a 4

Does exactly what it says and works well. Droid X. The widget works on my nexus 6 now, but the app itself just crashes. No bueno there.
