MiniMap

This is a great app, can't believe no one thought of it sooner! Hopefully the plan of being able to add in putting point A to point B directions can be implemented as stated in a reply from the developer. My only suggestion so far is being able to start the app in "map mode" without it automatically launching the settings pane first.

There a lot of things I would like to see added but, having read the developer's replies to some of the reviews, I understand that using Google Maps brings about certain limitations. I really appreciate the fact that all of my saved places from Google Maps show up in the mini map too

Would be good if the app had night mode, its sometimes too bright at night. Other than that perfect for android head unit radios.

Amazing! Works great, it floats around like the Facebook messenger bubble. Plenty of settings, with a paid version unlocking extra ones. Try it out!

Really good and easy access map. One recommendation if I might add is there should be waypoints or markers or places we can choose. So if we want to remember where a place is later, we can just put the marker down on that spot and we can view it another time.

Good app does what it needs to helps since my phone has a huge screen great for phablets.. Suggest making a homescreen widget.

Please add navigation and thats all it needs to be known forever in Android history. A tiny app thats shows maps and helps in accurate navigation. What more could anyone ask for?

Can you add a button on map to open window in full screen and if clicked again return to size as it was

If only we could also disable the map and then set the font size / font border / background with alpha, to get a floating GPS speed meter too, for using it (probably at almost full screen with alpha, to see the video and controls) while recording driving videos, to see the real driving speed at the same time (which would not be recorded, of course, but just for reference to not get a speeding ticket so easily. x))

Would be good if the widget or the app itself could stick to the slides. It floats over home screen apps and menus. Please add a minimap widget that would actually display a map. Would be best if worked through Google offline maps.

It would be nice if the map would be semi transparent and would pass touches underneath so you can use the whole screen for other activities while navigating. EDIT: Seems that it isn't possible using current Google maps. Very fast reply from the developer.

This is a feature you would think Google would have done in the first place. Improves usability of your phone and Google maps. And the app is totally stable, responsive and easy to use. Awesome! These guys make sweet little apps, surprised this one doesn't have a million dls yet

Great, but it would be awesome if you can make the map a widget on your homescreen.

What "they" don't tell you is that the icon and map block your access to what is behind it. You have to keep moving it around for access. Also difficult to get rid of. Must use app-store. Too much trouble! Google's better and easier

Awesome concept

Light, no fluff app with a great concept. I'd love to use this app if it could add working directions functionality. Ideally, if legally possible, it would be cool if it could sync with Google maps or waze navigation.
