Te Pūmanawa - Learn Maori for Android

Not free. Not what's on the box at all.
Really well done! As a speech therapist I can see how clever this is. I love that instead of explaining grammar, you show the differences. After an hour, I already am starting to figure out so many patterns. The subtitles on all the videos are helpful. As are all the pronuciation audio.
Love it I have always wanted to learn maori and now I can thank you
Really want to access the tests and assignments... please advise how we can do this? Kia ora ☺
La manera en que te enseña es muy buena, es divertido, fácil de usar y ademas es barato. Buenisimo/ The way it teach you it's soo good, it's funny, easy to use and it's in a low price.Soo good.
Would like to know how we could register to use the app in full if we are not connected to an organisation
Well organised, just seems like some of the interface could do with some polishing. Some buttons worked sometimes and no back button ... a lot to learn on a screen...
Also I don't want to create an account with my email address. Uninstalling.
Can only access vowel sounds and greetings. Waste. Of. Time. Uninstalling.
Paid money for it and it doesn't work. Fix this asap.

Once I signed up, was emailed my password in plain text. Very poor security practice from something expecting money.
It's easy to navigate around the features. For whanau that have put off learning Te Reo Maori because of other commitments, will love this App! They can 'learn on the run' and gain an NZQA qualification at the same time. Worth paying a license. Awesome work!
Clever innovation for specific learning. Well done!
There's no point to this app. Pretty much learn this than pay to assess yourself
Basically only the alphabet is available for free the rest you pay for
Very easy to follow. Audio and video are great.
Looking to move to NZ soon, realy want to learn some maori, i think its important to respect native colture and atleast try and learn how to speak the lingo. This thing won't let me on. ... my advice, use youtube. I learned allot there, all i learned here is that my account doesnt seem to work

This app isn't worth your time. You get the alphabet and a few "lessons" free, but to access 99% of the app's content you need to pay.
First only 1 area was accessible, then the app started spamming me. What a shame :-(
K runga noa atu
i love my culture

I've had no trouble since using this app. My device is a samsung notebook 4

Your better off going to Te wanaga o Aotearoa where you can learn maori for free.
learning my own culture Maori. Is just awesome in I love Aotearoe.
Here I was, all keen to learn Maori, but now I can't because it costs 300$ for a licence, and there's virtually no helpful free content.
Too much information not very well laid out. Lacks the simplicity of other language learning such as duolingo. It feels more like a 2008 webpage rather then a 2014 app. Lacks tablet compatibility.
Coders have not set up App for Facebook account compatibility. Apart from that I haven't been bothered to create an account, as the app is free might as well try a different one, :
I can't log in with FB. It says that the app is not set up properly to log in with FB.
Tj Solomon I will tell you for free... maoris is not a word. It starts with a capital M & is both singular & plural. Ignorance & arrogance is a reflection of ones inability to afford an education. So sad.
Soooo good and very well done! I've been looking for a way to learn Maori and now have found this great app! Its fun, interactive and I want to learn more!
Rubbish
Fun to use so great for children as well

Can you please make this available for people not linked with an organisation etc. I really want to learn as my partner and his family speak maori fluently except can't access anything past the first lesson content..
