MathSnap

MathSnap is an educational game for children to encourage them to learn Math Tables. The game uses the traditional card game of Snap to encourage children to practice Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division Tables.
Cards containing questions and answers are dealt out. Children select a question card followed by an answer card. If the answer matches the question and the child answers correctly, the two cards are removed and placed on a pile in the centre.

As with Snap a good memory means the child will clear the cards quickly. As part of the process of playing the game the child will have to carry out mental arithmetic calculations thereby gaining practice and hopefully proficiency.
