Lleyton Hewitt Tennis Fitness for Android
Join in as Lleyton and his fitness trainer of 10 years, Nathan Martin, show you how to build and sustain your strength, how to stay agile and boost core fitness, step by step.
More than 150 mini videos detail the exercises that have helped take Lleyton to the top, from suicide runs to squats and shuffles to hops, across all surfaces.
By following them you too can improve your fitness and ability to compete better on court. It doesn’t have to be full on and you can find the level to best suit you. There’s something for everyone here. They’re exercises you can do and monitor, in a group, at home or alone. All you need is the desire.
It has everything you need. There are three programs each on Strength,
Agility, Power, Core and Endurance as well as extensive Grand Slam programs
specific to hard, grass and clay courts. These tailored routines will give you a real
perspective on how you should train for each surface.
There is even a fitness test. Are you fitter than Lleyton Hewitt?
Test yourself against Lleyton.
Try to beat him in his own fitness test.
You can learn a lot from Lleyton. World number one, Wimbledon and US Open champion, Davis Cup winner and captain. Every top player beaten. Not a bad resume. It’s also a lot of matches, more than 1,000. That takes conditioning and the right routines.
Of all the grand slams this millennium, he’s missed just five.
January 2016 is his 20th straight Australian Open. It’s also his last.
He’s given a lot to tennis and now, thanks to his app, he’s giving something more.
See behind the scenes and hear about what Lleyton has to say about his 20 years on tour, his insights, what he eats before and after matches, what’s in his racket bag and also hear about his favourite moments.
Consistency and working at the right intensity is the key to Lleyton’s training.
‘Work hard and keep it simple’ says Lleyton. With this app, you can do the same.
'Tennis Fitness begins with this app… today.’
Good work out tips that totally suit tennis. Just a quick reminder: at the Grand Slams section, Wimbledon is spelled as "Wimbeldon". It's kinda annoying for spelling freaks like me :-P
Great App. Lots of detailed training exercises and content. Very easy to use.
I purchased the app but it won't play the videos . Complete rip off
Really good!
I'm blown away with how many different types of trainings Nathan Martin and Lleyton Hewitt have footage of. My favorite part is that it's all in one place and it's easy to navigate to my different types of trainings and on the types of courts too. Bravo on putting this together. Well worth it.
There is so much training content in this app! Really helpful programs and easy to use.
Just noticed it has no app icon on my homescreen, just the little Android bloke. Doesn't look that professional. Great app though.
I love this app, I am using most of the drills with my juniors. Rusty is the best !!!
I love this app. Lots of great exercises and drills. Would highly recommend.
Considering it to be a first of its kind, this app is well structured and presented. Kind of like a fitness coach on your phone. However, the videos stream every time you want to watch it. No offline watching.
I downloaded the app for my son today and installed it on his Android tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich. None of the videos will play. The error message is "Cannot play video: Sorry, this video cannot be played" I installed an alternative video player, but the app doesn't offer the option to specify the player to use. The videos play on my (newer) device. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? PS: I tried emailing about this issue but your contact address is not known.
Very informative and easy to navigate. Suitable not only for tennis but for anyone wanting to exercise.
I downloaded the app, and paid in order to gain full access to the app. Unfortunately none of the videos would play!!?! I use a Sony mobile running on Android...
Excellent app. Great fitness app for agility, strength and endurance in most sports. Congratulations Nath and Rusty. Bunyipbob.
Thanks Lleyton for sharing these information.
Great app, I was surprised at the amount of information. I like Lleyton sharing his experiences. There are loads of exercises that can be done anywhere, the programs are adaptable to different levels. For the price I think it is good value.
Thanks Lleyton for this app, we can hard practice on a easy way.
Just a new way to steal your money. Videos won't play. Most of the exercises are blurred out. Don't buy. Just enjoy tennis for real.
You can view only one video unless you pay an amount
I didn't download this app to help me with tennis but rather from the overall fitness aspect. Gotta tell you, this all is worth its weight in gold and best part is lleyton hewitt is your trainer
