Cyrillic (Russian Alphabet)

Truly helpful in such an honest way. No money is charged, no account is needed to set up. All they ask is a clear head and a want for learning. I can't recommend this highly enough. Occasionally crashes but this is very minor. This app puts the customer first and has really helped me to learn the basics of the 33 letter Cyrillic alphabet. Great job guys.

I'm pretty sure this is incorrect. I downloaded a different app, as well as looked at a chart online, and they were both completely different than what this app says. The letters are from the Cyrillic alphabet, but it appears there pronunciations are completely different from Russian. Another review mentioned Ukrainian, so maybe that's it? Or maybe I'm completely wrong. Either way I just thought I should throw it out there.

Other apps make you encounter full words first thing while showing you a confusing mishmash of letters. Since Russian is greatly phonetic, this lets me puzzle out cognates and helps me connect what I hear to what I see so that it can be better stored in my memory.

Other Russian learning apps tend to skip the alphabet, so this is great if you hit that hurdle. But, other apps that *do* include the alphabet always seem to gloss through it quickly (like, here's a word, here's how it's pronounced, you figure it out). This has been a really useful tool for someone who has been trying to get the basics of Russian through apps alone for over a year.

Very useful, it's really helped familiarise myself with Cyrillic script in preparation for a trip to Russia later this year. Also there are no annoying ads like on some apps!

Learn the cyrillic alphabet + cursive in about an hour. Probably your best option to go for learning cyrillic. Before couldn't see the fourth option, FIXED!, 5*, and you saved a completionist from a stroke!

I think this is a very a good supplement for things like duo lingo. I think the could be a "landscape mode", and some better quality audio, but it really hits the spot!

I think I found a mistake. The letter B in Cyrillic should be pronounced like V in English. However the app pronounced it as Ba !

Russian is my second language and I am always looking for apps to improve it so I don't forget it as I don't live in a Russian speaking country anymore.Firstly,this app has audio which many apps don't.I would say that this app is for beginners(unlike duolingo)as you are still just learning the letters and how to read them.I do think that the quizzes need to be improved,they are quite easy.Some of the words you choose to show I have never heard of ,so I suggest you use more common vocab.

Do this before you try to learn words so that you know how the letters are pronounced and you can read words phonetically.

Great for what it is. The voice recordings sound like they were done over the phone, but if you want to learn Cyrillic, this will help, for sure.

I've used several different apps to try and learn Russian, but I couldn't pick it up very well, until I found this app that actually shows me how to learn different words and the different letter and how they sound.

I love the little victory noise it makes when you finish a quiz correctly. I I very resourceful and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Good so far! The app itself is great, like an actual language class. Cyrillic itself is challenging, but that's why the app exists.

Ы is not pronounced like "shh" and a lot of mistakes in the New Letters part

This is a very helpful app if you are trying to learn the Cyrillic alphabet and know nothing about it.
