About ABCs
This flashcard app helps teach your child the all important ABCs. Designed for children as young as 8 months +, this app shows a large font letter on each card and a picture of an object that starts with that letter on the “flip” side of the card (touch the bottom right hand side of the card to "flip and see the picture"). You can:
* Use Edit Mode to add or delete cards, change the letters, text and pictures. Make it your own deck by adding your voice or your child’s or customize the app for any language.
* Star the cards that you would like to review with your child and use the Favorites Mode to create your custom deck.
* Change the settings to display lower case letters or UPPER CASE letters using the Toggle Case settings option.
* Show the letters in black only as opposed to a different color per letter using the Toggle Case in the settings option.
* Randomly show a letter using the Random Button.
* Swipe through the cards, or use the large buttons to move from letter to letter.
* Turn off the audio using the Quiz Mode.
* Partial Child Lock helps ensure your child isn't making random phone calls when they play with the app. To exit the app, hit the home key. (NOTE: NOT ALL KEYS ARE LOCKED)

My one year old keeps handing me my phone so he can look at flash cards and stands mesmorized. However, the first card always shows the wrong thing.

Teaches inorrect sounds for some. Letter I teaches short vowel sound (like the sound I makes in the word 'pig') then shows an ice cream cone (long I)

As soon as i open this after installing it said the letter A and then force closed. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the same thing. This has also happened to me with other Five Pumpkins apps.

I love that the letters are just plain normal letters. It is very hard to find an app where the letters aren't turned into goofy pictures or on backgrounds that make them hard to recognize. At this stage, I don't want my 20 month old thinking the letter G has to have googly eyes. I want him to recognize the letters as they are first, then he can move on to cartoon letters. A+

Good flash cards. Small file size on internal memory, rest goes to SD card and saves vital internal memory. Thank you. Works fine on my HTC Desire, Samasung Galaxy Note and Nexus 7.

The letters show up on my phone (HTC) - except for "W." Also, none of the letters show up on my Nexus tablet. The pictures on the flip-side of the cards all appear correctly, though. I love your other stuff - pls fix this !

After H the audio didn't match. Also not able to flip images after that. Even if all worked perfectly the flip and arrow are too close together for toddlers to be consistent.

My three year old has been using this app for about three months. He recognizes the alphabet and numbers 1-10 randomly! I recommend all Five Pumpkins' apps.

Letters are not visible. ..it says them, but I can't see them...have had this app for a long time now and I am not sure why it's not working all a sudden for a while now.
