Asks for unnecessary permission otherwise it doesn't work. For example, even if I do not wish to use this app to share location or find nearby friends, it still asks for permission to my location and would just shot down if I deny its request. Same goes to contact information, permission to make phone calls, etc. I think that's pretty dirty.

Very difficult to sign in, the phone number verification code is whats troubling me. Please remove the phone number verify. Why can't we just sign in by fb which is WAY FASTER and less complex.

Suddenly logged me out and now I cannot login totally, please solve the problem! It really very irritating and i need to use the app to contact others!!!!

6.6.1 update broke the ability to post to 朋友圈. Now I can click on the camera icon and choose up to 9 photos but can't proceed anywhere from there. You can still see other's posts, just can't post yourself. I'm thinking this is either a glitch or maybe I'm banned from posting for some reason now? If so I'll change the review accordingly once it's fixed or I have an answer.

WeChat is a good app. The team has done so well so far, and it is really highly commendable. Nonetheless, there is more room for improvement. Please let the Technical Team consider the following. 1. There's no option to allow you correct grammatical errors and constructions. 2. There's no option to directly respond to a particular message. This sometimes make the chat difficult to follow. Please see if something can be done about these concerns.

what a bad app! , totally disappointed. cannot log in with Facebook acc. Even when im trying to sign up a new acc with new phone number, the verification code never sent to my phone ever. this app make life more difficult. Donwload this app just for texting with my family in China. but now i cant, that so good wechat.

Why do you like to waste my time all the time. This app is always freezing, crashing, take long time to respond...ect...what a disappointment OMG

Be carefull, i accidently uninstalled this app, when i reinstalled the app it didn't recognise my phone and had to go through a stupid verification process even though i was using the correct username and password to login, it's plain stupid.

The delay in messages seems to have worsen after the update as I'm just receiving messages my friends sent a week ago. I don't know if this is due to the network error I keep seeing whenever I open the app that is never fixed no matter how many times I tap the error message.

I like this app..but for some time this Shake feature is not working properly for me.. Every time it just says NO RESULTS FOUND.. TRY AGAIN.. Please fix this shake feature as soon as possible..Unblock this shake feature for me if it's block....Thanks

Useless weechat nowdays, when send message in people nearby no response, always block, when reported management ignore useless, always ask for phone sign in, if you all cant fix weechat just dispose it dont make people fed up with stupid apps like weechat

Impossible to verify account on a new device. I tap "verify" button and the next screen is blank. Tried a few times and now my account is locked. Terrible, buggy app. Do not use if you have other alternatives.

Suddenly jump out from the app and now i cant even open the apps. keeps showing the apps is having problem. pls fix it immediately.

WeChat has made my pixel phone slow like an old dog when I want to surf the Internet. If I delete Wechat, my phone turns good. PLEASE upgrade.

I want to see my old video at my moments but I can't play it. It take forever but still can't play it. Why? Last time okay now no more.

Usually this is an excellent app but everytime they do an update something gets changed for the worst. Now it appears to limit the size of file you send..ie video. Everytime it has update it gets ruined.i would give 5 * but fed up with the changes.

No verification texts or calls are being sent or received. I logged out of my account can not log back in or create an account

Images and voice messages expire way too soon. UI is ugly and almost featureless. But it's an only way to talk to a friend on exchange in China

audio msg cannot convey complete on bluetooth headset. please add app shortcut (by long press the app icon).

This app is ugly, asks for too many required permissions and is a half baked version of the true Chinese WeChat. Many features available on mainland Chinese phones built in WeChat are not available in this version. If it wasn't for the high number of users there would be no reason to use this app.

5/1/18 update, search function is broken, can't search keywords in chats.
