Telstra for Android
Dosent work. Been loading my details in the widget for 5 days now. Have no idea of where my data usage is up too.
Continuously logs me out while trying to pay bills, then when I log back in it says it's timed out? Every single time.
The widget no longer works. Why are you pushing people to your new app? This one is far easier to keep track of your data usage when the widget used to work!
Don't work keeps going to telstra 24 7 has been going downhill for the last 6 months
It is using 25% CPU constantly since last update. Please fix! Reply to Telstra : you are wrong, on my Telstra htc 10, the disabled option is greyed out. You are not using a Telstra build in that video.
Now I have to lookup the weather, fail!
It would be nice if the widget redirected to a help page on how to replace it's self instead of going to 24x7
Worked until the last update now it crashes when opened
Just stoppec working after years of being useful
The internet is slowwwww
Can't uninstall, disable option was disabled
Worst app ever
Arjo
Awesome
I could not login/ register/ anything.. I gave up after so much time wasted, not a few minutes here and there but rather hours on multiple occasions. The customer service is beyond anything acceptable. I just wish there was another option. Boo to telstra
This app is always at the top of the list for using up the battery power. I never use the app and don't even want it, but since it can't be uninstalled I have to force stop it and disable it to save power. It's a difference of about 5 hours standby with this app running in the background, to well over 20 hours if it's disabled. The problem is it's automatically enabled and running now and then so I have to keep going through the process of force stop and disable.
This app came pre-installed on older Telstra phones. Some handsets have had problems with high battery load or app crashes. Unfortunately the app cannot be uninstalled but it can be disabled on some phones (if not you can do a force stop) in the app manager. There is a new app called Telstra 24x7. This works fine and has all the functionality of the older one. Please thumbs up if you found this info useful to help others find this comment.
Last night my battery was full. This morning, less than half. Checked battery usage, this app used a staggering 51% of the total! That's more than everything else combined, when it wasn't being asked to do anything. There is no point having the best network coverage of you can't use it because your battery is always flat! Update: almost 12 months on, and still no remedy for this appalling battery hog.
A totally useless app. You can fix it. Updated versions won't allow disabling without warning all your data will be lost. However you can go to your app manager and uninstall updated versions which will put the app back to it's factory setting. You can then disable the app without the warning about data deletion. My Samsung A3 was only meant to be locked for 6 months to Telstra yet there app is a zombie which card ever completely beyond install from the unit. Pretty cynical Telstra. Won't buy a phone locked to Telstra ever again.
All this app does now is link to 24x7, and yet it still responsible for eating the battery on my HTC One M8. Apparently, the only way to disable it is by rooting the phone. Shocking.
I cannot get rid of it ofmy phone. Useless app. I hate telstra no support. Bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 on a plan 18 mths ago from their Kingston Tas. Shop. Battery dying. Wanted to buy new battery. Nope we dont support spare parts for that model any more. Goodbye Telstra. Soon as contract over.
You really shouldn't make an app a default app that can't be disabled if the app is crap. Continuously drains my battery... Only option is to root my phone to get rid of this bloatware.
Gives the wrong results for data used. Is top battery drain after android os. One of the largest data users. It really isn't that hard Telstra
Can you please sort your life out Telstra? I dont need your bloatware not to mention the battery drain i get. Im over rooting every phone i get from you so i can enjoy it and android for what it was designed.
battery power zapper! After my phone dying by lunch even with a new battery I decided to check what was using the battery answer, this app 49% worth! since turning it off my phone battery has been at a min70% by 8pm. why does this app use so much power??
The battery usage sucks the life out of my phone. I have to charge sometimes twice a day. Meaning my battery will die faster. And I can't disable the app on my HTC 530. It's greyed out. Apparently this is a common issue so why isn't it fixed yet?
This app is the main reason why my phone cooks bread better than a toaster. Super invasive, constantly lagging the CPU
Sucking battery, Constantly consuming 30% of the battery I didnt install this app, I dont use this app, I dont know what this app does, I dont want this app, It wont let me uninstall or even disable. Not that this review really matters, cause Telstra will just install it for you whether you like it or not but not even allowing a user to disable the app it a whole new level to bloatware.
This app chews through your battery. I'm on Optus but can't uninstall the app as purchased phone from Telstra. Many 6 month comments about this issue on Telstra online forums. Still no solution. If I could give it a negative rating I would!
Works fine for me. I would prefer to use this and see my data usage at a glance than being FORCED to download the other stupid app, drama drama just to see my data usage. Should be OPTIONAL which one you prefer to use instead of getting rid of this. Battery is the least of my problems.
This app gets forced upon you for choosing to be a Telstra customer. Then it is not only the size of a small country it eats up battery faster than playing music. And to top it off, you can't even recharge through it, it sends you to a website. And don't even try using paypal to recharge cause it just refuses to work.
On researching my S5's Android M poor battery life, this was the culprit - and I don't even use it!!! It also only opens to a blank white screen. Uninstalled. Please fix it Telstra, very poor form. Your 24x7 app is ok but this sucks - batteries.
This app sucks the life out of my battery, like an unwanted rellie at a family reunion!!! Even worse, I can't open the app - it just crashes. Regrettably, 1 star is the lowest rating I can give.
This app used to work so well, but for the last couple of months, it hasn't performed well at all..... I used to be able pay my bill via the app, but now it just keeps showing me news stories and no notification if the bill is paid or not.... Disappointing.
Always crashes/runs into problems requiring restarts, rarely keeps data usage up to date, whole heap of junk in the app I don't even use. Frustrating just to a want a simple data tracker that works and keeps me reasonably up to date so I don't get charged more!
This app use to be very good. Now I'm lucky if I can get 12 hours out of my phone. I have never come across an app that is such a heavy user of battery power. I have disabled the app and now my battery usage is back to normal. 48 hours between recharges now. About time you fixed your crap app.
Have had my Telstra handset for almost 12 months (my 3rd now), and this app is consistently the poorest of all my apps installed. Massive battery drain is top of the negatives - it's regularly in the top 3 on my battery usage chart. Would never recommend this app to any user!
I have 24/7 app, so only thing I need here is weather. 1×4 Weather widget works fine when first installed, but fails to reload on reboot. Uninstalling.
Thanks for making an app i can't delete, and constantly runs, helping to drain my battery. This comes in at 1st on the battery drain list in gsam. What is the point of this app-when you click on anything,it only takes you to the 24/7 app anyway! You should at least let us be able to uninstall this app if we want, instead of making it a system app where we cant get rid of it.Can you please reply telstra

Why the change? Bloody hopeless. Accessibility to "My Account " and credit transfers? If I could give a 0 star rating, I would!!
