Für die Benutzung musst du Mitglied der ig-motorrad.ch sein und über eine Internetverbindung mit deinem Smartphone verfügen. Zum Schnuppern kannst du auch als Trial-user die App während sieben Tagen benutzen

Die App gibt dir praktische Informationen und entsprechende Tools rund ums Motorradfahren.
Mit der App können gespeicherte Routen für Touren in der Schweiz aufgerufen und gefahren werden. Du kannst auch eigene Routen aufzeichnen und mit anderen Benutzern der App teilen. Mach Fotos von deinem Motorrad-Abenteuer mit der Hilfe der App und verbreite sie über die üblichen sozialen digitalen Netzwerke.

In der App findest du auch Angebote von deinem lokalen oder nationalen Motorradhändler, von Restaurants und von Hotels, die dir als Mitglied der ig-motorrad.ch Rabatt zugestehen. Der Kalender informiert über Veranstaltungen in der Motorradszene. Aufgelistet werden auch Sehenswürdigkeiten, Parkplätze in Städten und Treffpunkte von Motorradfahrern. Neuigkeiten von der Website der ig-motorrad.ch werden ebenfalls laufend eingespielt.

Ein wichtiges Element ist die Möglichkeit gefährliche Strassenabschnitte online zu melden und die Information anderen Benutzern der App sofort zugänglich zu machen. Auf einer separaten Website zur App kannst du deine persönlichen Inhalte bequem verwalten und Routen über Google virtuell abfahren.
