Power Button to Volume Button

This app does what it is. But nothing is perfect so I want to point out what it lacks. First, the app stops when I clear my ram. Its a minor issue but even so, it stops its function. Second, seldom it does not work. I dont know why. Lastly, this is the thing I want to see updated, battery consumption. Others dont care, but I do. It does not consume a lot, but it takes a considerable amount. I hope you can improve it. If not, just dont they destroy this working app. Thanks

I am unable to uninstall this app. When I tried uninstalling it using playstore, it says to deactivate it. I think I have already deactivated this app. Need some solution. I need to save my battery which is being drained out because of this app. Kindly provide some solution asap.

I cant get this app off my phone ive tried deactivating and unistalling it and nothing. I downloaded it thinking it would be useful since my power button sucks but i cant turn my phone on once it turns off i can only put my screen to sleep which is pointless because after alittle time my phone does that anyway. Im beyond annoyed.

It seems nice at first if your power button doesn't work, but then you notice that your phone is dead. It absolutely CRUSHES your battery life and now it doesn't even let me uninstall it. This app is a curse

If your power button is broken, this app is for you. The battery drain is much less than in other apps which use proximity sensor or screen tapping. Good job.

This app is not working every time. And sometime getting too late to turn on screen. Please update with fixing this problem. My phone model (HUAWEI Y541 Honor bee)

Does exactly what it says with no extra unnecessary junk and no ads. The best thing is it has let me verify my tentative diagnosis of my failed power button; replacement is now in order. As the author states it does hurt battery life; also, as I use it my volume gets lower.

Power to volume button is great help if power button is not working. But this app is no help. Drains battery like hell. 100 to 57% in no matter of time. This is the major con of the app. Otherwise no issue. Good to use but doesn't work at times.

Total lifesaver. My HTC M8's power button just stopped working for some reason. I was using a cardboard app and my battery was low and the phone was just kinda wonking out for a bit. After it rebooted the power button didn't work and I pretty much couldn't wake the device at all unless it was plugged in. This app has helped a lot.

Very impressed that it actually works!! My power button sucks. This is a life saver! NEVER TURN YOUR PHONE OFF The only real complaint I have is when I shut my phone off. I can't turn it back on, my power button really sucks, so it takes several tries to turn my phone back on bc I can't do it from the volume button.

A friend of mine has an Itel phone like mine and his power button broke, and he discovered that it can't be fixed. So I am trying to keep mine from wearing out. This app works better than the gravity or swipe apps that I have tried. And the battery doesn't run down much. I put it in airplane mode when not using.

I have a HTC one mini 2, a large phone with the power button right on the top.I have nearly dropped my phone multiple times because I have to shuufle my hand up the slippery metal body. Using the via lime button, which is right underneath my thumb when I hold I right handed. This makes turning it on a hell of a lot easier. Thank you for this epic app!

This app has far more problems than I realized. It randomly decides.when it will turn my phone on. I would not recommend this app to anyone. I checked all over my.phone to see if maybe another app is preventing it from working correctly. Nope,.just a bad app.

It didn't work so I deleted the app but then my phone crashed and wouldn't turn on properly. Luckily the shop reset my phone completely and it works again but now I have no pictures or music. Awful truly awful

Im testing it for myself, because my phone lock/unlock button cannot function well. If your apps will be in good performance for about 1week of my testing period. I will let you know and i will give you a 5 star :) THANKS AND GOD BLESS!

Ever since I downloaded it, all of my apps crash as soon as I open them. Even worse, they make it LITERALLY impossible to deactivate this app. There is absolutely no way to deactivate it. I sent them an angry email.

my Nexus 5 was stuck in an endless loop of powering up. I managed to keep it on just long enough to install the app. Havent had a problem since. yes it does drain your battery faster but its a small price to pay compared tp getting the phone fixed or buying a new one. I like my phone and will use it until I have squeezed all the life out of it.

It works. But power consumption is on higher side, which was actually stated i the description already. Only 1 other problem is, it may sometime hang your mobile or make your mobile in reboot loop....

I broke my power button recently on my iRola tablet, and this app just may have saved me from spending a hundred dollars for repairing it. Yes, it does slightly increase power drainage, but its worth it for me.

It says that it is a system administrator even after i disabled it and restarted my phone. Even tried taking the battery out after disabling it still won't let delete it. Tried loading my phone in safe mode and uninstalling it that don't work. Just makes my phone screen flash on and off. Had to download a task manager that let me uninstall the program.

Thanks for creating such a "clean" app and giving it for free. It is by far the lightest such app I have seen - others are MUCH larger.. Also it does not ask for any unnecessary permissions. Best of all it works even without admin mode.. AND it does not mess up the volume function either. I understand that the battery issue is unavoidable due to way Android is set-up. It's is a great temporary fix and a live-saver until I find a more permanent solution.

This app works without crashing, on my old Nexus S. Another I tried did not. This app is small, probably because it doesn't show ads. Yay! It does consume a lot of battery. I accept that because I can believe it is an inevitable part of keeping an app awake to monitor the Volume button. (If you don't like that, get a working Power button!) My battery still lasts a16-hour day.

Even after disabling the app as 'device administrator' the app won't uninstall. I tried through 'Google Play' & my phone, it won't remove. I cleared the cache etc. I hope you do find a way to help us remove it, I'm not the only one saying that.

Got a broken power button. Without this app it was either : 1. plug it in and out, or 2. ask someone to call me as option to turn it on. And waiting for it to go to sleep by itself. Inconvenient. Now, I can use the volume button. But, yeah, the app drains the battery pretty quickly. Still worth 4 stars.

I am too much happy by using this app. A few days ago my 'Power Button' didn't work. Then i go to for repairng with hardware. But, After next day i face same problem. I was very angry for this problem. Then i dicover a new path that, i make a call for my phone then turn on my screen. But it is very boring. But i was wanted a parmanent solution. This app drains too much battery...battery drain is almost equal to keeping your screen ON the whole time..the worst part is it won't uninstall..Before downloading this app search Google for fixing power button issues.. Some fixes might work for you..

After being really bad for months, my unlock button finally died with 8 days left on my 2 year contract. App works perfectly and has allowed me to keep using my old phone without having to ask someone to call me every time I want to unlock the screen.

I'll have to check on the battery usage like some other people mention but it works mint! Was ready to throw out my phone but nope! It almost seems to wake my phone faster than the power button did... hmm......

Doesn't do anything but consume power and once you install it you can't uninstall it. If had a lot of useless apps but this one takes the cake.

It works but it engage 59%of my power comsumtion, hope it can be only activated when the screen is off , so at least it can save some powe during the time when the tablet is being use

I needed this bad because I couldn't turn on my phone. This lets you assign the power button to volume button. I like that app becomes disabled when screen on as to not mess with your volume. Yes battery takes a hit but if you're in a bind, this will help. Great app. 5stars all considered

Had installed it because my power button had quit working but now it is working again and the app will not uninstall, it says it must be deactivated first, but it won't deactivate

Just because it says "Hated it" doesn't mean I do. The application just didn't do what I was hoping. Also, to the Development team.. you need to please put out an update to fix the bug that is stopping people including me from uninstalling your software. And, another reason I rated this as low as I did is because, I feel that I am being watched or something. Or maybe the application is doing something that it shouldn't be. Please release the patch so we can update asap..

This app is fantastic, only problem I incountered is that the screen stays on for like 1 or half second, though once I touch the lock screen within that half second, it stays on for standard period of time defined in my system display settings of my device, NOTE: this half second problem is only with volume buttons. Power button still turns on lock screen for standard period of time defined in system display settings

Drained my battery within a couple of hours even when I wasn't using my phone. Also, there seems to be no way to remove the app once it's installed!

I really recommend this app to person who have trouble with their power buttom, its just simply and easy to use in just one click. I love it

So my tablet power button broke and then someone suggested me this app and everything was going fine...till today :| my tablet died on me when i was a work and now it wont turn on , as this app disabled my power button :(

Its a good app but i got my button fixed n now i want to uninstall it but its not deactivating. HELP ?
