RV Route & GPS Navigation

I live tested this app during the free one hour trial and it failed miserably. The app tried to route me from I-90 to the Taconic Parkway where RV 5th Wheels are definitely not allowed, and bridge heights are 12' 7". I was set 13'. App can not be trusted and definitely not worth the money.

Worst navigation app I've ever used. It tells you to turn onto streets that aren't there, or to turn onto wrong streets. When I requested a refund they waited 2 days to respond to tell me how to obtain one them told me I was outside the 48 hrs. Refund window. DON'T DOWNLOAD!!!! AND PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! total piece of crap!!!!!!! I guess I'll consider my $$ a contribution cause my free Google maps is 10000 times better so I won't use this one ever again!!

Was reading the reviews and owner always replies with either excuses on why the app is jacked up or has some kind of rude remarks. Sounds like the customer service sucks. I'm uninstalling. I'm sure he will give me some kind of snotty reply like he does to everyone else.

It works well, however the "WARNINGS" are numerous and useless. Just drove from Redding, CA to Salem Oregon on I 5. Every couple of miles it was "warning" me to continue on I 5. They all happened when there was no choice but to continue...

A quick look a the program, necessitated by the brief free period, seems to indicate that the app MAY be okay for point to point routes but not for trip planning since it doesn't seem to allow for stops or waypoints.

This app has become invaluable as I travel, my 5th wheel is tall and thanks to this app I still have the Air conditioners.

Need to integrate with Waze. Traffic updates are not accurate.

I tried Rand and this app with good routes and sat images is the best.

Like routes that do not put me on parkways. Good pois

I used the free version allowed between 1:00 and 2:00 daily to see if the purchase was worth it. We are traveling in a 30 ft motor home in NY. The route it picked for our next destination included the Palisades Interstate Parkway which strictly prohibits motor homes. So why should we pay for this app?

Free time to even look inside the app is 2 hours a day in the middle of the day. Are you guys totally out of your minds.. unstalling and not looking back..

I had to pay $10 to be able to look at the app between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. . If I want to use it for a year ,I have to pay extra twenty bucks extra. Not happy

This app has a very nice display for navigation. Voice is clear. Good connection to a Bluetooth. Price is right.

Very detailed info on Camp Grounds. I travel from Ottawa to Florida and back every year. This app is the most useful thing on my phone.

Constantly tries to take you down toll roads even with the setting for minimized tolls. There were other suitable routes with no tolls. Only able to use the app 2x because it would never transfer to my new phone. I had to call because I never received emails or texts back from the support team even though they said they emailed me. I never received them. Not worth the money charged, would love a refund. Reply to your reply: oh yes the routes were suitable the other way. We had no issues. None.

navigation stops when the screen is off. searching for locations is not intuitive. I have to search for a location in Google and then copy/paste the results. trip rerouting terribly slow.

This app is a giant leap forward from my old GPS I used in my RV. I love to use BT with my phone, love to give commands to the phone without even touching gps. Campground Directory they have is updated and although I think not as detailed as it could be locations are correct. Campgrounds in Michigan all had right phones and locatioins.

So far I am happy with this RV software. I do not have anylonger problems I used to have with my old GPS where screen was keep on freezing and power supply falling out. I travel about 2 weeks out of each month and I see data usage is about 1 gig per month. I have 5 gig plan. I am fine.

Works very well in getting you from and to. It allows me to do propane restricted roads. My routes in Gran Canyon National Park were just right. I see that this app is still worked on and I see that more and more features coming up. I do like idea of their tech support via text messaging.

Unit behaves as advertised. I can find national parks just by searching with voice. I can zoom in and see statelite images of the parks. Best part is that I do not have to purchase $300 Garmin that cannot do that. Information about traffic and prices of gas helped me a lot. So far routes are good and appears to be optimal. I recommend to use quickest and not shortest options that SmartRVRoute gives you.

Lifetime updates and traffic life time are the best features on this very in expensive GPS. Caution alerts on this app are very useful. Even when there is no data coverage this app still works and shows I do not like to pay for apps but this app worth it. Searching for points of interest with voice and searching for address with voice are very good features. I do not type well.

Price is low. For one year it adds up less then $1 per week or $52 only. I am happy. I cannot afford now expensive GPS devices sold at the truckstops. I love the way this app shows satellite image of my destination. Can see now even buildings and parking lots where I should deliver. Nothing I think comes even close to this app.

Would like to see these functions added: Restaurants under POI list, distance to POI from my current location, turn by turn button on main nav screen.

If you a trucker and have smartphone get this app. For truckers there is nothing better. I tried it for 1 month then subscribed for 3 years. Very cheap for what it does.

Traffic, Weather, RV parks, Satellite Photos Prices of Gas along the route. I tried this app first for free from 1 to 2 pm and then decided to purchase 1 year. Happy for now.

We purchased this app after old Garmin died. We read reviews about this app and noticed that mostly people upset that this app is not free. I also read some really good reviews. I love my Samsung S5 and happy to use it for different applications. I am pleased with the app. It gives us routes we need.

Unlike other GPS devices this one is very accurate. Routes were in close to 100% right. Only in one case in the last week I think I could have done a better route. I am satisfied with my subscription.

Since I purchased this app I feel a lot more confident. So far this app did not lead me to a place where I not suppose to be.

I purchased this app about 1 year ago. It is worthy investment of $52X I already traveled over 12000 miles with it. It is a very good system. I now use TABLET with WIFI hot spot. I do not think there is a better system on the market. I can see all the local events and points of interest. I have nice bluetooth connection from my Samsung phone. Information on Campsites is detailed and also all the truckstop info is very useful. I recommend this product.

I checked Rand and Garmin. I think it is better to rely on your phone gps then keep on spending money on those devices. I changed my phone 2 times already and had to pay nothing to transfer my app from one phone to another. Smarttruckroute helped me to transfer. The cost of the app is a fraction of the the cost of GPS sold at the truckstops and does actually less then smarttruckroute. I recommend this product. I think it is better especially for the money.

I used in the past other GPS devices. None of them would forgive you if you mistype 1 letter on address. This one you can say it or type it and make mistake and it always finds an address. I only use truck quickest for truck routings. I think it is much better then avoid toll roads or truck shortest.

I just needed this app for 1 month so it was very economical for me. Maps appear to be updated and routes worked well. Search of an address with voice seems beats any expensive gps devices. I purchased smartrvroute because in the past I purchased RV navigation systems from WorldNav.

I like all the improvements SmartRVRoute is making. I just returned from a trip with this app. It did not lead me to narrow streets or tunnels. It did actually a great job. I would recommend this RV app. I would just suggest to find a way to give this app for free but please do not put adds on a map. Although on another hand for $1 per week it is an excellent deal.

No major issues. Would like to see features added but for now I think it is the best nav system. Screen is not as large as I would like. I am planning to purchase a tablet. I have seen now some for as little as $100 with GPS on it. Also will check with Verizon. I think having traffic weather and road closures on the tablet will make my life much easier.

I never had a trucker GPS before this app. I had several guys that use Android recommending it. After couple of weeks of use I would like to state that it works very well and to some extent because my good friend.
