SGD (Smart Green Drivers)

SGD is an insurance telematics application that uses available sensors (GPS and accelerometer) to monitor and assess driver risk. Data is assessed locally, stored temporarily, and uploaded to the cloud. Data can be uploaded using the SIM card or WIFI. WIFI-only data transfer can be enforced to reduce personal data costs.

The application can be branded for brokers and insurance companies. The data can be provided to insurer's platforms in a variety of formats to suit requisite business processes.

The application supports an alarm for eCall processes together with FNOL (First Notice Of Loss) detection and associated incident reporting.

The application can make use of dedicated vehicle plug-in devices such as distractive driving prevention, accelerometer and OBDII extending the capability and functionality of the application and related system.

Feedback on driver risk and details of journeys are available to the user. Other driving aids and infotainment features are options. These include comprehensive offline satellite navigation.
