BlueInput for Android
Works with Gingerbread! Would love to be able to remap real keys though, only alphanumeric keys work properly...

It don't work I'm so
Doesnt work period.
It took me forever to find an app that would work but this one does. II have a nook HD and a HYPE Ultraslim HYCA8080BTK. Works llike a charm
I've tried several other apps. This is the only one that works for my generic bluetooth keyboard. And it could even pair it with my Motorola Defy Pro XT560 which is Gingerbread. My phone is not even rooted.
This app works, -technically- has so many glitches it's not funny. While working with facebook, it will scroll the page randomly, which causes you to stop typing. It will automatically hold keys down, and no one likes having to hold the back space down for 5 seconds every other word to clean up the aaaaa's and such. The nag line of [blueinput demo] is annoying, more than it should be because it's input far too often. Good: it connects, and sort of works. Recomend? only cause there's no other option.

Tried to connect my zyrex onepad tab with my bluetooth keyboard for one month, failure all the time. Download this app and tried to connect them last night, took not more than a minute!!!! It is like a dreammm!!!
App says the verbatim keyboard is discovered, but disconnected, despite working. Will not accept the listed s/n to register

I was happy to find a way to connect a keyboard to my Nook HD. I was less happy that I have to go through the 'one time only' connect screen every time with it only working on the first try about half the time. Still, I thought I could work around the glitches and decided to buy the full version. I was initially confused why it wasn't showing up in the Play Store. I finally found out you have to buy a key from the developer through their website. I didn't like the sound of that, but I really didn't like the price. Almost $19 American?! That's crazy money for a driver with issues. At half that I'd consider it. At $5 I'd buy without hesitation. $19? Pass!
I can pair both devices but there is no input from the keyboard. When I try to connect it to the cellphone using your app the message "Failed to open a HID connection to Genius BT keyboard". Something similar happens when I try with SPP connection. I am using a Motorola xt919 and Genius luxepad 9100. Thanks in advance
Just brought a bluetooth wireless keyboard and had problems pairing it with my phone, but this app saved my life and finally solved all of the problems.
It finds the keyboard but it can't connect to it.
Quick easy to use
Failed on ipaq

Ai mudo as minhas estrelas.
So this app. I bought a Bluetooth keyboard online, one of those tiny ones. It didn't work with my phone. The driver disc with the keyboard had an android app on it, and that also didn't work. The app from my disc is the same as this app, from the same company, and this app ALSO does not work. Do not buy. Don't even bother looking. Purchase your keyboard from a reputable retailer that takes returns on non working products and avoid everything this company does to screw you out of your money.
If you want to have such a restricted demo on the android market, have the decency to have the pro version there too. There isn't any reason I should have to give my credit card to an app developer for the paid version of an app that is already on the market. So either get the Pro version on the market or get out. Demo does as it advertises, but every half paragraph or so, it shoves in a "[BlueInput Demo]" as you are typing. Extremely annoying, put a banner ad on the 'soft keyboard' instead, it would make this app worth the download instead of just a headache.
Works better than anything else I have found, preventing the autorepeat other drivers let thru. But the devs use their own licensing scheme which is very expensive. Each license costs 10 euros, for which you get 3 keys. Each key will activate one firmware version. If you upgrade your firmware, that's a key gone. I have a phone and a tablet, so it could easily cost me 20 euros a year just to keep this piece of software going. No, I'll stick with the autorepeats and hope that someone else produces what I need for a sensible price... shame, I would have paid 10 euros for a standard Google Play license.
I have a Motorola Triumph phone and purchased a Motorola Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard on eBay (the same keyboard sold by Motorola) It wouldn't connect on my phone even though Motorola states that it should. They said the device was defective and I was out $40 because there was no returns on this new device. Tonight before completely giving up, I found this app and boom I am using my keyboard to type this review. The people who developed this app are amazing. Now how do I turn off the demo stuff?
This appears to Android as if it is a soft keyboard. Then, it implements a bluetooth connection to your external keyboard instead of displaying an actual soft keyboard. You do have to manually disconnect the "keyboard" via settings to get your normal soft keyboard back; there should be an interface for this in the app itself, since the set up of the connection is guided by the app. Ideally should disconnect automatically when keyboard is turned off, if possible. Upgrade is expensive at almost 10 Euros.
This is a very good app, but the pro version needs to be accessible on Google Play. I am not going to share my credit card details with every person. You do not even disclose in the demo how much the full version. I will give my money to someone else with that kind of misleadingness.
It worked well with my Targus Bluetooth wireless keyboard on Ampe A10 tablet. Best of all it doesnt need device rooting as other middleware (firmware) needs.
With this app I was able to connect my wonderful Bluetooth enabled Logitech DiNovo Edge To this phone for typing purposes, I wouldn't say that this application is completely perfect however, From what I've seen out there on the market; it's the best that you can get for this approach.
No pro version on the market place = no pay!
It would be nice If the app actually found B-T advice..it looks nice anyways..
I bought a mini keyboard but the fn keys do not work. I emailed them asking if there was a way to remap the keys to work around this issue. Long behold, they've added remap feature to the next update! Awesome guys.
I have an android tablet running android 4.1.1. I could not get an external keyboard to input after pairing and successfully connecting. I tried all suggestions from forums and each app in the play store. I then tried this app and it worked straight away
The demo will paste in the demo text periodically, corrupting files that are being edited unless you are paying attention. It can play havoc in an app like vi/vim, where each key is a command. There was considerable lag too, which made it hard to evaluate (is it the keyboard or Blueinput?). The app is expensive; you're better off putting the money toward a better device that has a BT HID profile.
Unfortunately, if you decide to buy this (which you will have to because it is crippled and inserts demo text randomly),[blueinput demo] you are at the mercy of the developer who does not use Google Play to sell you the app. You have to buy it directly. Worse, it is tied to DEVICE ID. What this means of c[blueinput demo]ourse, is that if you want EVER change devices (warranty/upgrade/etc) you are forced to buy it a second time. Also, very expensive. 8,49 Euros "on sale"!
I downloaded this app and paid for it - rather a lot, but I had an apple bluetooth keyboard and preferred to keep it. As the comment below states, you are issued with a device ID and that device ID is specific to the serial number that you pay for, so ignore their comments about it being transferrable it's not, and they are liars. Also, 6 months after buying this software - which is pretty clunky, to be honest. It decided it didn't recognise my account any more and when I retry the code - which worked in the past - it wouldn't accept it. Avoid this software, it's fishy that they don't accept Google Play payment (after all, you can send it back on Google Play) and once you've been using it for a while, you lose the use of the software that you paid for. They're clearly either incompetent and should not be accepted by Google, or they are deliberately trying to force people to keep paying for some rather poor software. I'm reporting them to Google.

Teksoft's website has got to be one of the worst I have ever visited in a long time! There is no manual or any serious attempt at producing user documentation on how to use their product. Just screen shots and feature lists. There is no formal bug tracking system. What is worse is that it appears that their support forums have died. The last posting in the BlueInput for Android was around 2 years ago, back in 2011/2010 time frame and I was unable to find a way to register in order to post to the forums. IMHO documentation and support is half of what I am paying for, when I buy a software product, and Teksoft's support appears to be a joke. I won't recommend them until this is improved.
First I want to say Thank you, it toke me almost a year to figure it out, and you help me in second ..lol Thanks again!
Demo works great on my nook hd+. Unfortunately I sent my payment thru paypal for this program and have yet to receive my registration code. It's been three weeks and no response from vendor.
i had troubles getting it to connect with my keyboard, but a different keyboard fixed that. the BIG issue for me was that shift combinations like '' produced the wrong chars like ';'. this was universal on the keyboards i have, which worked fine with other devices. if it weren't for that i'd pay money for it in a heartbeat. the developer says i shouldn't underrate their software for this issue. REALLY!?!? keyboards have been supporting these shift combos since before i was born! score -1.

Brilliant. I've used an app to connect my NookHD wth an Anker keyboard before and it was glitchy so I tried this. Success first time and not only that but it gives international keyboard options, reconnects to the tablet easily after using the keyboard on the tablet and has no ads. This is really one of the best apps I've used for doing just what it should and giving you more than you expected on top. Quality stuff.
