You can set the CPU cores as dynamic hotplug mode, single core mode or fully dual core mode.
This provides easy and simple way to use.
[ Features ]
*Set on boot
Change mode what you selected automatically on boot time.
Menu > Settings
[ Modes ]
*Dynamic Hotplug Mode
Default. Recently, mobile multicore CPUs turn off extra core(s) to save battery life when system is not busy and only use 1 core.
They turn on extra core(s) when system is busy. so system use all cores again.
*Single Core Mode
Use 1 core always. A extra core is shut down. It makes battery life longer but performance is decreased.
*Dual Core Mode
Use 2 cores always. Performance is increased but battery life is shorter than others.
*Available kernels
- Lulz Kernel Build 15 and over
- Siyah Kernel v2.2 and over
- FM Kernel based on 2.6.35.14 [Beta]

When i first installed this app it didnt work, to all the ppl having a problem with selection not working, u will first have to falsh ur phone with the siyah kernal for your droid version. Once you have flashed the kernal the app will then work and believe me... What a difference... Even my 7yo daughter noticed the difference. It may take some effort and some extra app installs but once done your in for a treat. Well done dev.

Core2 Management works on my stock HTC Sensation 4G 4.0.3 (ICS). Why doesn't this app work on it? I'm grateful that it led me to Core2 Management, as the Store lists it as an app similar to 2nd Core, which I only use for visual confirmation of the fine performance of Core2 Management.

And theoretically 2 cores are more efficient than 1 due to both running at a lower clocked speed than it would with 1 core.
