Great app, but missing one important feature: Sync favorites and "Watch Later" list via your TED account! I'd give this 5 stars if it had this feature!

video doesn't play on MI BOX. buffers for a couple of seconds then return to previous UI without any error message.

Why can't I sign into my TED account?

It's a good app, Nice user interface. What is missing: a possibility to login to user account and save every setting and history there. Reason: Android TVs (Sony) needs to have factory reset to often and then is the complete history fom TED TV deleted. If that is solved, I will give 5 stars to this usefull app.

Would like to access my TED Account to save favourites, etc. and sync across devices. TV-development should be a top-priority as TED belongs on the TV - it's simply more convenient and has a bigger impact due to the instantaneous access to the app compared to the desktop and due to, in part, the larger screen and better sound compared with smartphones.

I love to watch TED talks but please let me sync my favorites on all my devices

There isn't an account mechanism so users can track videos watched on mobile and other devices thus the recommendations are very limited to content watched on the TV thus you may see duplicate content that you've watched before and with Android TV there is no way to mark recommendations as watched. This also means that others coming to watch on Android TV cannot see a history of what they watch to easily recall what they'd want to share. Wish there was a login to track videos watched and get recommendations across all videos watched. This also prevents starting on mobile and moving to the tv and vice versa.
