This app is completely not functioning on my Samsung Galaxy S3 running 4.4.2. It is forever stuck at Downloading TED event information. Please wait. I cannot see why it should not work on such a popular phone model despite its age.

Installed this app both on my phone and tablett. The batteries of both devices were completely full in the morning and completely empty in the early evening. Battery usage on the tablett tells me that 37% of the power was used up by TEDConnect. For events that go on over a full day this is not usable. Beyond that, nice functionalities, some things that are not intuitive and quite unstable.

Great idea and good usability although some small twicks here and there could further improve the user experience. But it lacks vibration notifications for incoming messages (resulting in signifcant delays in conversation). There are still some bugs too: my profile keeps reverting to the initial state so I cannot add my email or Twitter to it, the network list shows only one (semingly random) contact and say that I have 7 contact instead of the 10+ I've made so far...

Changing my profile info for the 6th time, finding out that none of the data I entered were saved is simply unacceptable. The networking part does not show people in my network, scheduler does not show anything. I simply cannot use the app for what it's supposed to be used!

I have fast WiFi, yet this app. attempted downloading for 5...then 10 mins. I stopped it, cleaned my phone, attempted new download. No luck

You can't update any information on your profile. You get stuck in endless loops of trying to escape to start over only to get nowhere. Very frustrating.
