GV Locations

Does this work? I continue to receive a message that my email and password are invalid.

Pure bad

Just tried this on my MotoX with Lollipop and it won't log in to my google acct. Without that login it won't work.

No longer working. Authentication has been deprecated.

i love the idea of this but its crashing on me. i can't login to gv and if i try to create locations it crashes. :/ verizon SCH-1545.06 4.3/3.4.0

Used to work..now it wont login. Now it just says check credentials and connectivity which both are correct

Does not work anymore. Great piece of software really makes google voice much more powerful. Wish there was a way to support the Dev but don't see anything in the app or website

Not working on lollipop

Has been working great until the Lollipop upgrade to my Samsung S4 5.0.1 the GPS circle just spins and spins never showing location.

This app used to be great, but doesn't function now. It's won't even open. It crashes and kills any functionality that it once had. Nothing about if/when (if ever) it will be fixed.

Best app for daily gv users. This is the best app I've downloaded in a while. Its a 2in1 app. My cell phone now has control of where my gv number rings. Just by setting my house's location, I can have my house number ring here and my cell ring wen I'm out.This helps me save so much money on cell service. Now, I can use my useless house phone I got in a triple play package to send/receive calls on my gv#. I saw other reviews about switching to gps to locate but that'll drain your battery. I use WiFi inside so my location is easily detected. Outside, I can careless where the app thinks I'm at. I don't live under a cell tower so it won't think I'm home lol.

Concept is great, uses a lot of battery consumption. Its the perfect app ”if” you'll use it.

I've been using this for several months to keep my work phone from ringing when telecommuting. However, my boss just called me and my home phone didn't ring, which caused me to rack up a bunch of cell minutes. This is missing some no-brainer features, like determining location based on Wifi. Like at least one other user has said below, I'm switching to "Locale GV Settings Plugin".

Inconsistent when using cell towers - needs GPS support or be able to sense a WiFi network location. Update: I switched to using Locale with the GV Settings plugin, it works flawlessly.

In fact worse than not using it at all, since now my phones don't ring when the app thinks I'm "elsewhere", which is always.

I like the concept, but you can still feel as if it's not completed yet. But I still love this app.

Preferable would be a good tool IF YOU could sign in to it so what use is it.

Would change to elsewhere consistently when at a saved location.

Always shows me "Elsewhere", never at home.

Only uses cell location on galaxy nexus. No way to select GPS-only. Unless you live in Kansas, this means that when ever you go up a hill, the cell towers around the bottom of the hill will think you're somewhere else. This app needs GPS-only support before it will be a valuable addition to my telephone. Now it only turns my home phone OFF whenever I get home, because I live up a hill with poor cell coverage.

Just started using this app. This is a feature that should've been in the Voice app. Luckily we have an amazing base of android developers to pick up where Google left off!

I used the BlackBerry 10 port for a year because Google didn't have an official voice app for BB10. Now that I am back to Android, I realized this one is better. And the fact it's free software (GPL) is even better.

Needs work but the tool I need!

With this app I no longer need to worry about setting up ring schedules for all the phone I use and then having to change them when my schedule changes. Now the phones are automatically enabled whenever I'm in range.

I score this app an 0 not s 1 again a big 0.

After one of the updates it stopped working and doesn't update based on location anymore.

Keeps forcing closed!!! Waste of time! Don't work! !

It is very handy to use with work, but could use a some revisions in the graphics and functionality.
