So you got that waterproofed phone that everyone is taking about. You are eager to take it for a swim and get some underwater shots. The only question is: are you sure that you closed that flaps firmly? Is the phone really waterproofed as they say? Is there any solution test this?
WaterProof can help you test if your phone is watertight. By applying simple physics and pressure sensor readings we determine if air can get out of your phone. If the test is positive it means that the phone is not watertight and you should not keep it close to water hazards. If the test is negative however then you have a good chance to have a good functional phone after you get out of the water.
We'd like to get as much insight as possible. If you'd like any features just write a comment or send an email and we'll see if it's feasible for an implementation.

Works Perfectly, i tried to open my sim card flap a bit and the app said your phone is no longer waterproof.. And when i close the sim card flap its says your phone is waterproof.. I've tried it many times..Best Apps 2016..

You can't just press the air inside the phone because it is not completely closed. On the speakers there is a microscopical type of grill made out of a soft meterial that doesn't let water in, but it does with air, so you can hear the sound clearly. You can't just compress the air inside, it is useless. The air pressure inside is variable just like outside. Otherwise we wouldn't have pressure sensors to act like altimeters

I have a Sony Xperia z5 and like they said on the box it is waterproof.. The app also said the same.. I tested the app by opening my flap a bit and the app told me that my phone is no longer waterproof.. That means the app works correct using the pressure sensors

I tried using the app several times while my phone's cover was on and off. 100% of the time, it reported my phone as waterproof and not waterproof, respectively. This app's usefulness goes beyond just checking what your instruction booklet can already tell you. Since the test is based on the real-time condition of your phone and not the information in a database, you may use it to give your phone a checkup after nasty drops or during scheduled maintenance intervals.

When I have the flap open on my S5 it actually says it's not waterproof and right when I close the flap it says that it's waterproof, and that's pretty nice

Tried using just one finger and the app said that my Xperia Z3+ is not water tight. Need to use two fingers and a harder press before the app finally recognized it.
