Antennas for Android
Once you get one you always have to have one it's the LAW.
Tried other apps that had cell tower and maps built into the program but were very problematic . This app performs this task without any issues. It's perfect for my needs .
Absolute FAIL. I like the concept, but just got a blank map with my tower info. Needs lots of work. CDMA Hero
Other than locating my position on a map, it does nothing else. I live near lots of towers bit this app displays none at all.
Can't find towers, no signal strength. I unistalled and went back to OpenSignalMaps.
Really wanted this to work on vzw but it doesn't. I won't give it a bad rating though. Uninstalled.
Used to work great until last update. Now it's just a blank screen with a circle on it. PLEASE FIX THIS! Moto-Droid (original, non-rooted).
This is a really nice app. It works exactly as advertised. 1 problem though. After installing, my onstar app now shows the cell location as the location of my car.
The concept for this app is great and implemented very well. Its too bad that its almost impossible to get accurate position info for tower location
Not too great. I'm in Cambridge and it shows I'm connected to a mast just north of Newcastle
Cannot find my GPS location no matter how long I wait, while Google maps takes 1 sec to do so. HTC incredible.
Google Maps can use phone location when GPS location is not available(no fix), why can't this app use mobile network location? When the location is wrong(somewhere in the south Atlantic ocean) in this app, it is centered at a red dot with A in it. What does A mean(not in help file)?
I know there isn't a antenna in my neighbors driveway. Lame. Uninstall.
I work on the mississippi so l like this app! Auto center is annoying
Does not work to good on behold ll. Uninstalling. Fc to much. Cant find known towers in area. I hate killer clowns!!!!!
Works well. Listen up, people: inaccurate or missing tower locations are NOT the fault of this app, but either 3G, Android, or the cell provider's fault. Downvoting for that reason just shows your ignorance. Sorry, but it's true.
This is bull crap! I zoomed in on 3 different antennas and its a house not a tower. Uninstall! !!!
I love this app! It was of great help when i needed to figure out where to set up my external antenna (and what direction to point it in). My only problem is that the "dots" on the map are tiny, to the point that I sometimes can not see the yellow ones at all. Also, I have too zoom very very close to read the numbers written inside some dots. Perhaps it has something to do with the high screen resolution on my Galaxy Nexus? Nevertheless, I'd pay for this app if it wasn't free. Thank you!
For a cell provider like wind mobile I'd love to be able to use this but it is not available or dosnt pick up my carrier.. It shows the European wind provider only. And my location is not Canada like Google maps will show me with gps and all. Ohh well it's a bug and hope it works for me one day and it can be fixed.
I was getting -89 dBs, and still my talk got interrupted too much. And this app clearly demoed the reason to me. In a particular place, my tower keeps changing from one to the other and to the yet another. And yet they don't force you to pay you for any pro function. Thanks guys.
This app reported that I was connected to one cell tower but could not find it. Tried turning GPS on/off. Tried turning WiFi on/off. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app 3 times. It just would not work. My phone is a Galaxy Note 4 with Lollypop installed. My carrier is Verizon Wireless. Would give this app 0 stars if I could.
Seems to work well in the UK with 2G signals (ASDA/Vodafone) on my Nexus 4. I haven't tested with 3G. As another reviewer said, the location dots on the map are very small – probably this is an issue with high-res displays. This isn't really a problem with towers to which the phone is currently linked, but the others (yellow dots) are hard to spot. Chasing down the local antenna towers could become a new pastime – like geocaching, only fractionally more useful. If the map could show the networks available from each antenna that would be a handy addition.
This used to be one of my most useful tool apps. But, now it's absolutely useless to me since AT&T upgraded the networks to 4G LTE, because the 4G LTE towers and signals do not register on this app. Tried contacting the developer about it, but it didn't do a bit of good.
I have used this app to help bring a case to AT&T about lousy cell service in the area. The tower that my cell is connected to is not shown at all on the map. It keeps pointing to a not existent cell tower 2 miles away. I went and checked and nothing there. GPS is right on. Maybe its just my area??!!
It use to work now it shows the position off Greenland. It is always searching for position even though I am standing near a cell tower it has no idea of where in the US I am located. It was a great app but not any more
This app just worse than i thought. It couldnt locate my position in the map and when i touched phone screen this app gone out of work. Bad...
Always wondered why I got rubbish reception at home. Now I know; there's only one tower in the neighbourhood and it's miles away. Very helpful app. Working well on a Galaxy Note GT-N7000 (version 1) on Android V4.0.4. Thanks
Yep, doesn't work for 3G/cdma phones. :-( Read, it is stated in the description. Limited for Galaxy phones. Kinda sad considering the popularity of all the Galaxy phones. Will check again in a few months for update to fix this.
Works great on telstra t tab finds all cell sites on Vodafone au. I have used over 10 android phones since and the app crashes on all of them just got a Huawei gr3 and it works great again on android 5.1 amazing edit works on zte blade android 5.1 aswell
App does exactly what it says it does. 3g and cdma have limited support as stated,so why give a bad rating if youre too dumb to comprehend that.
rf signal tracker best 2# this app only shows one tower but so dose rf signal tracker ps blue screen with dot means searching for your location give it a minute
Less than a one! Shows i'm picking yp cell tower in south Atlantic ocean, off coast of Africa. Good bye!
Used to work years ago now all it says is cannot determine active cell site all the time
I was getting -89 dBs, and still my talk got interrupted too much. And this app clearly demoed the reason to me. In a particular place, my tower keeps changing from one to the other and to the yet another. And yet they don't force you to pay you for any pro function. Thanks guys.
Seems to work OK in Roswell NM. Would like a setting to log accelerometer values since my signal strength seems to vary with phone orientation.
App works well on Desire 2.2. Circles with signal strength are too small to read clearly. Make these bigger or configurable.
It's gotten better than when I first tried it however it showed me a tower on screen that was a house. DROID X
Make sure gps is on first. Then it will show correct location and cell towers connected to. Works on droid x
Awsome app! Helped me confirm I was still connected to my Verizon network while spending the weekend just over the border I'm Canada.

Also works as a good and extremely light weight map application. Option to copy cell site no. will be useful for bad network complaints.
