About FRC GamePlan
GamePlan is a novel Android application that allows teams to effectively strategize upcoming matches by configuring a complete field, outlining potential alliance strategies, and sending them between students/mentors/additional teams.
Developed utilizing Android Material Design, the app provides a blank field for drive teams and strategists to customize according to the needs of upcoming matches. Drivers and coaches can quickly manipulate the DEFENSES, add ROBOTS (with optional designs tailored to offensive or defensive roles), show BOULDERS, and draw out potential ROBOT movements across the field.
Any plans drawn can be saved (permanently, if chosen) and even restored for matches at later times or later competitions. This feature allows teams to pre-strategize matches for expedited efficiency during match planning.
In addition, the app contains new SENDING features! Utilizing Bluetooth technology, teams can send match strategies from the stands to the field or pits (maximum 700 ft. - device dependent). Furthermore, these plans can be shared with other teams utilizing GamePlan, giving them the capacity to manipulate and save these designs as well.

I have a friend who is using an IPhone and she is not able to find it on the app store. Maybe because it's only for smartphones? Can you please fix that?

Update the double tap, to longer. It takes way to short to activate the menu. I have to try 5 times to activate the menu. Edit: They fixed it, these devs are really connected. Nice job guys!

Functional app for strategy that I will be using this build season. Two things I'd like to see added are the ability to have a ball constrained to a robot so I can move both at the same time, and an eraser for the pen feature. Other then that this app would be perfect

Very nice strategising app, however there's a couple of changes I think would help greatly. Interestingly you can add an infinite amount of objects to the field, and I'd like to see the app make use of the Android menu button to show/hide the menus. Perhaps a clear button on the bottom left of the dialog box for the defense selection, instead of an option on another row, and maybe a menu screen to set robot numbers/shapes. Extra line colours and shapes would be cool, but I like the simplicity of the app.

Great app. Gonna be interesting to use with a stylus phone. One qualm I have is that tapping to get the defenses is way too precise. I even had my s pen out for it. Right now the way it reacts is if you touch it for even more than a couple of milliseconds, you will not open the menu for defenses, you will just draw on the outerworks area
