Although the app works well as designed, my one complaint is that the UI is way too busy. There is the navigation at the top, the gear etc on the right, the underlining on the first word of each chapter. I'd love a distraction-free mode that could be my default, or even better, a standard material design interface.

It's a good app, but it still needs some improvements. Scroll is choppy and load times are high even when using the offline version. Other than that, it's a good app now.

The new feature for the daily verse is a wonderful addition to the App. As always it allows me to compare King James side-by-side with NLT in landscape mode. NLT is a modern English translation with reference to multiple text when any question to the translation occurred. Other translations are available in app.

Well-designed app, many useful features for reading the Bible, and always works. It allows you to switch between versions very easily, has a parallel function that allows you to view side-by-side versions. It also allows you test other versions like a study Bible for instance. And the two versions that I have purchased have a text to voice built-in. I assume all versions do but don't know for sure.
