The Offline Map Downloader allows easy installation of high quality offline maps into Oruxmaps and Locus apps.

I'm giving it two stars for the good idea, but the app doesn't seem to work with Oruxmaps yet. I have followed all the instructions and the app downloaded a ".map" file. Apparently Oruxmaps can't handle this extension, because the map never appears in the offline list, no matter how many times I press refresh. What should I do to make it work?

Half the maps need to be bought and the free ones dont work with locus.
