EXIF Tag Editor (Photo) for Android
This App is a GUI for libexif.so. ExifTool is also an platform-independent Perl library plus a command-line application for reading, writing and editing metadata. Don't get mad at me, but I can't agree with what you've said about Batch processing. The only reason why you can duplicate a file is for building you a personal sidecar file. What really can be a little bit confusing , is a workflow where "multiple images" is chosen. But the batch processing with directory's works very nice.
Cool. Just what I was looking for in order to batch-edit GPS information for a vast load of pictures.
Exactly what I need
Does not show directories. Cannot select destination folder upon save. Writes new file to same dir as old one making it difficult to know which is which.
Isn't this violating GPL?
I used to be able to rely on this app. No longer. It's as lost as Google Photos. If Google is unable to properly track photos on a device, I hold little hope for this app. Google has allegedly resolved its SD card security troubles through the Lollipop release, and still no upgrade for this app?
Works well all things, EXCEPT, strips my subject tags, keywords, can u fix it so I don't have to repeat subject keyword tags!
Glad it works with Google photos app compared to other apps that don't!
Simple and useful
Cool app. I'd love it if it also supports cyrillic (other-than-latin-characters) in the geo tag search.
Won't save data, won't over write source image data. Waste of money. Will change if developer can respond to emails and tell me how this thing works. Otherwise stay away from and don't waste your money.
Can't add folder: No files added. Galaxy s4 4.4.2
Would like to have .PNG support please - then you got me!
Inaccurately geo tagged my photos despite multiple tries. Crashed every time I tried to share to the app from Google Photos app. The company never responded to my emails. Uninstalling. Have had exact opposite and GREAT experience with the EXIF editor by Banana Studios. I would recommend that one. It's easier to use as well.
Refund...
Love, love, LOVE this app!!! I didn't need or want anything flash or bloated. I just wanted to edit necessary dates & this app does it perfectly! Thanks heaps!
Pro indeed
Very large images won't open.
This app fit my needs perfectly to update a group of photos that had no EXIF. The multiple image feature made it very easy.
Excellent app. I had a few problems and they prompt on feedback. But the selection of multiple images from gallery is a bit slow. Overall nice app

Batch editing is not working at all, change/delete do nothing but copy files to new folder. crashed when requested to change gps location.
Works with multiple formats (except PNG). It should be noted however that PNG itself eliminates EXIF data. Virtually no software i can think of can write EXIF data to PNG, except for one that is available on Linux. (To The Developer: Glad To Have This Back On Market! )
Edits EXIF data fine, but noticed that batch edits are interrupted if your device sleeps while processing, meaning you have to restart the process. Force closes if you attempt to switch to another app while processing. Also REALLY needs the ability to select multiple images from gallery app.
I've been putting off organising photos for too long because I didn't set the date correctly on my camera. This made changing that a breeze.
Single editing ok, but for b batch editing ñot work at all
Does exactly what the developer says it does
I've searched high and low for a batch editor for this common date issue problen when copying photos to Android phonrs. Great simple ui and batch editing. Thanks
I just bought the app, and was delighted to be able to embed a very important annotation into the EXIF metadata of a rare screenshot. Developers probably have their reasons, but I'd like a conventional Save As function. In a Nexus 7 2, look for modified image files in /DCIM/. Had to re-save a few times because the "toast" message disappeared too fast. Sent the developers a message. (As of this date, one of their screenshots has a glaring misspelling.)
Bought this to fix edited photospheres but it doesnt seem to work. Which leads me to believe that it doest copy all values.
I was looking for, a solution for editing Exif data when lost after using some photo editors. Since I always save the original file (I treat original's like negatives, I may want to edit later for a different effect, or use better software in the future), with this APP, I can copy EXIF data from the original photo into the edited photo. ==========For Batch renaming photos to the EXIF DATE TAKEN, I suggest PHORGANIZER for Android and NAMESIF for PC. Using this combination solves the problem of shooting scenes with multiple camera APPs/Physical cameras, and then the naming conventions of each throwing your photos out of chronological order when placed into one sub-directory regardless of the File Browser/Gallery APP/Software used. Rename the files BEFORE editing!
Sometimes, I want very much to annotate an image, and the free-form field in Exif is better than embedding my notes into the filename. As well, I really like being able to access metadata that any quarter-decent camera embeds, such as exposure info. | | | Any device for processing your shots must be able to view and edit Exif, at least, imho. | | | Wonder whether IPTC is next? Android-enabled cameras are probably going to be around for a while, after all.

Very strange behaviour on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in trying to select directories and multiple files for batch processing; will probably have to replace with a better app.
