About Transit Montreal
Transit Montreal provides access to transit schedules (Bus, subway, commuter trains) for most of the greater Montreal agencies.
Its very simple and intuitive interface allows quick access to your favorites stops.
Schedules are downloaded and available offline, for use in subway stations, for example.
This application offers features like:
- Add / remove transport agencies.
- Real-time schedules available for the agencies providing them (eg STL).
- Quickly find schedules by line or stop number .
- Add your favorites stops to access schedules in 2 clicks.
- Function 'Nearby' to determine your location, list the nearby stops and schedules.
- Quick link to get directions, or plan a trip via Google Maps.
- Access subway and suburban train network maps.
- Schedules updated frequently.
- Install widgets on your home screen to quickly access schedule of your favorite stops! (Pro Version only).

Tried to search for a bus by number (I know that that bus number exists, I used to today!) - it tells me : no route or stop found. I also can only view the RTL bus line. All in all, I found this pretty useless.

Excellent application with map support. You download only the database you need so the app doesn't waste space and it stay fast. Up to date and doesn't drain battery. GPS location support.

i'v installed it and i do use it every single day. it has helped me a lot finding bus stops ,directions etc but you can not use the Direction option OFFLINE ! that is the big unpleasant issue of this app .i hope they fix it.

There is no real time tracking. The application struggle to download and extract it's database and is corrupted the most of the time. The application crash at least 3 times on 4. The schedule planned is also the most of the time empty.

Haven't been able to access the CITLA database for weeks on my devices. It says I have to update but it's always outdated. I now use MonTransit which is much cleaner.

Still far from perfect. Database for STM alone is 430Mb uncompressed + the initial zip file download. While the STM official app database is 30MB! Widget occassionally not updating showing incorrect time for buses. I would like folder of favourites to show combined times, which i know wt least an ios app does correctly. I have been waiting a year for this to catch up but so far ni luck.
