Tekin HotWire Lite Beta

Worked great with the hotwire2. Just got the hotwire 3 for the blue tooth. Was a pai. To pair and when i try to connect keeps droping out and going to demo mode waste of $80 imo.... Update: Got it all sorted out now it works, There was an update on the app so after that its all good now

Great for reviewing performance and getting gearing correct. Tons of adjustment options for applicable speed controls. Only improvement would be save data logs on mobile devices and dark theme. But that's not enough to knock a star off at all. This is a must have for any Tekin owner.

Best app out there for tuning my tekin gen2 and gen3 esc. Quick tip, plug your hotwire in first then into your phone and the app will open automatically.

I think you guys need to make adjustments with respect to the new s8 Samsung cuz my hot wire won't recognize the new charging jack even though I have an old android to new android jack converter.....nevertheless TEKIN FOR LIFE!!!!! great products

best app ever. I have used Tekin for over 20 years, and now that I have a spektrum DX6R I can use my controller to adjust my ESC. Great job Tekin and thanks for continuing make High Quality cutting edge products that are easy to use and blow away the competition. You have been keeping me on the podium for years, and will for many years to come!

Bought the Hotwire 2.0 cabling and downloaded the app because let's face it...i was just too damn lazy to do any tuning changes via the ESC itself. I am new to RC's and just raced my 1st race last weekend but this app works flawlessly on my Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+ (...unfortunately it does not work on my Galaxy Tablet which runs an older 3.0 or 3.1 or something.) Best part about this app? It requires no special permissions like access to all my nudey pics or phone numbers!!!!!!

I love being able to just plug in the programming cable and go. No battery connection needed. Plus it is so clear and easy to set the settings. Highly recommended.

Turns on fan on esc but screen will only show background screen and categorys nothing below that on my tablet and my galaxy s7 edge. But if I open it then plug in the hotwire it turn on the fan but stays in demo mode shows everything and no adjustments can be made. Need to fix this as I have no access to a pc and bought this to use on Android.

Doesn't work on lg escape!

I guess a new version is coming soon? I hope they add voltage ripple, current and power to the data logging.

Works great on bulky computer, but won't work with my LG G4 phone.

I ldn't recommend it. I can't have for my window surface tablet. It was supposed to be downloadable for all windows devices . I'm upset. I bought it for nothingI I take it back. My new phone and the right OTG cable. Life is good

Still getting a good review because it did work flawlessly on my 4 Tekin powered buggies. No issue with the RSX, or RS Pro gen 2, until my phone did an update now it refuses to work. Phone is a Motorola turbo

Works great for setup easily adjusting the ESC. Not sure what I was doing with data collection however I think it might of been a small but if user error. App works perfectly on Galaxy S7 edge. I have both RSX and RS Gen2 ESC and both work fine. Would be nice if the reply when no changes have been made when you hit "apply" it said "no changes made" rather than an error message but other than that it's fine!

You guys are doing something wrong. Take your time and plug it in correct while phone is at home screen. Also update old speeds on your computer. App doesn't do it.

Any idea when the Samsung s6 will work with this app?

Went out bought esc motor and hot wire then USB otg dam cable cannot get to work.... also have a Mac so I'm really screwed I guess I'll sell on eBay and buy Orion even traxxas app worked very in happy with tekin at the moment..I love they ask us to send an email and it's always our Samsung cables that do not work right..... OK

Wouldn't work on a previous tablet. Seems to work on my Moto x pure once in a while app won't load have to try it a couple times. But getting better.

I installed HW app to my HTC M8 android 6.0 + HTC M7 android 5.1 + Sony tablet android 4.4.4, all my devices can't connect the ESC with Hotwire 2.0 but only can run DEMO mode. Is the Hotwire 2.0 and this firmware not supported all my devices or android versions? Please help!

Samsung S5 the app starts to open but does not open just red graphics on the bottom... I have updated and the problem still continues

Is there any plans in the works to add throttle curve adjustment?

I could not get the hot wire 2.0 to work with my Samsung GALAXY S5. I purchased the correct USB connector hooked them up and I got was an error message - could not find hotwire. Works fine on my windows laptop. Really dissapointed that it does not work with my android mobile device.

Worked on my phone before, but went to try it recently, and won't work. But, I brought my tablet with me last weekend, and worked just fine. Another person had same issue with his phone amd was excited that we could make adjustments. (I brought my tablet, and laptop to the track just in case)

Using on my LG 7.0 works perfect also use on an LG g3 with no problems love the app makes on the trail adjustments easy and fast thanks tekin! Been beating my fxr for 3 years now
