TS3 Remote

This is great because you can set your phone down next to your monitor, and not have an overlay cluttering your screen. One thing I'd like to see is some customization, though. Colors, for example, of the talk light, or instead of a talk indicator the option to choose that names change color when talking, or the names background changes color. Mostly things that are more prominent so you don't miss who's talking. That would make this a 5 star app.

It is surprising the number of people who do not realize that Team Speak 3 already has a plug in that adds an in game HUD with for functionality than this app. Open your TS3/Settings/plug-Ins/ check Team Speak 3 Overlay Plugin. In settings for the plug in you can customize its placement and appearance.

Just so people know, the communication service application "telnet" is not enabled by default in Windows. You may turn it on by finding the option in Windows labeled "Turn Windows features on or off." Additionally, the computer with the TS3 client running on it must be set up with a static (non-changing) IP address. If you don't know if you have a static IP, you don't. Easy tutorials are available online. Good luck!

Allows you to see who's talking in your teamspeak channel while the teamspeak client on your computer is not visible. Teamspeak team, you rock! I'd like to see some sort of authentication at some stage, but right now it's a nice feature! Make sure to read the instructions on how to setup your teamspeak client on your computer.

It's amazing how many people rated 1-star because they downloaded expecting this to be the full client. There's a separate apk for that, this does exactly what it says in the description, if it doesn't work, your firewall is probably blocking the connection. With a few more settings this would be a 5-star app, mainly the ability to only display active speakers.

Following the instructions perfectly (triple-checked) tried on Wifi and 3G, with teamspeak open in a channel, open not in a channel and TS off, will not connect to my IP, which is again triple-checked on both WIfi and 3G. ClientQuery is enabled,open to everybody, firewall is disabled. Phone: Sony Xperia T. Can't really recommend this. Sorry TS.

Most of the negative reviews are unjustified. Despite the limited functionality, this is a great app that comes from the people who developed TeamSpeak. It shows the status all the clients connected in your current Teamspeak 3 channel on your PC. No more - no less. It does this in more or less real time, because it runs on the local network and not via Internet! YES, it would be nice if you could see other channels, control your status, switch channels and the like. YES the UI could use an update, and looks just like Android in 2009. But it's the only app that shows the channel status in almost realtime, via network, not internet, and this it does well. It also seems to prevent the screen from sleeping which is great if you just plug in your android and charge it while the screen stays on so you don't have to worry about it.

I've tried everything. IP is correct and I've made necessary changes in TS3 program and it still won't work. I think there us a glitch or bug or something cause it shouldn't be that hard to get the program to work.

It is unfortunate for the app's rating that half the people who downloaded this can't rtfm. This app does exactly what it was designed for.

Worst app I've come across for anything. Literally won't find and connect to my home is then locks me on the failed screen. Quite apt for this app. if there was a Fail star I'd of clicked it. Haha way to fail boys!!!! Uninstall ed and I'm telling everyone not to bother.

Followed instructions and does not work. Checked server upstairs no problems. Dnt waste ur time

Unable to get it to work with my desktop. No clear instructions either if there is an issue connecting.

Used to have the older version of TS3 Client, not this remote connect crap and older version was way easier to use, didn't have to go thru all these retarded settings just to set up and open yourself up to all kinds of mess! Do not download this app will just frustrate you :(

This thing lets you talk or not? if it doesnt is lame as hell

It literally only displays people in your current channel with no way to switch channels our talk. At all. Also you have top be connected to teamspeak on another computer on the same network you're on. Why wouldn't you just use that computer?

This uses a telnet tunnel into your Teamspeak client through the local network. Telnet, a clear text protocol, is a security risk and could be exploited if this port is exposed to the WAN (or accidentally opened by the NAT). I couldn't get this program to work, and this program does not appear to offer any server administration options (move, kick, group, etc.). I would like to see such options in a server administration app.

Nejak som sa nidke nevedel docitat. Funguje to len na sledovanie prebehu servera na ktory som napojeny alebo da sa aj komunikovat pomocou remote. Podarilo sa mi pripojit na server ale nezachytilo to moj hlas cez telefon a ani som nevedel zistit ci sa to da. Znizil som aj hladinu zvuku na aktivaciu a skusal som aj push-to-talk. Absolutely amazing, never seen a better application allowing you to see your TeamSpeak. Great work. If only we could Speak on our phones though. :P

You cant connect to any server it just says connection to(server name) failed (01010100 01101000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01000110 01110101 01100011 01101011 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110011 01110101 01100011 01101011 01110011)

What an unusable piece of junk. Give us some working tools please.. My network is set up and working, PC is not rejecting the connection. Other remotes for other apps works perfectly. Enabled telnet conn. for everyone in query settings, no dice. It's just flat out broken, outdated and ugly.

Isnt compatible with 5.0 os. Once you yoir ip changes you cant change it. That is if you can even get it to connect. Monkeys could do better.

Could use some abilities to make it a remote control rather than simply a remote display. Move active voices to the top when speaking. Allow switching channels. Toggle mic and speaker mutes. Those functions are apparently available in the ClientQuery plugin required by this app.

It will not connect, period, I even disabled my firewall and antivirus and it still didn't connect

I guess I just don't understand the point of it. You won't be able to use it to chat and listen, just shows activity. Odd...

It used to be a really good application. Now you can't even connect to any server. Rendering it useless.

No errors other than it won't connect. Would like if a better message was displayed so I could troubleshoot better.

Just had to follow the instructions. It didn't use to work for me, but now it does. Don't forget that if both devices are connected to the same network, the IP you should write on the app is the Local IP of your PC. Also, remember to press "Reload" after changing the plugin's settings.

Shows channel activity pretty well, but two requests and a suggestion: 1.) Adjustable font size - one can't always see everyone in channel at the same time. 2.) A configurable delay after someone finishes speaking before their indicator light fades out. Suggestion: 3.) Rename the app to Teamspeak Remote Display, or Teamspeak Channel Viewer.

The app connects to your PC that has Teamspeak running. You can see...well, just read the description of the app to see what it does. RTFM!!!

it will connect but wont work with the mic

Shows user list of current channel only. Names highlight for no reason when pressed. The only "setting" is whether to show country flags O.o literally does not remote control any part of the teamspeak client *facepalm* this app is an embarassment

It doesnt especify where to find the ip address or any info at all.. and if you put your ip wrong you have to reinstall the app to try again? Seriously?

Read the description first before posting, This app is not for everyone. This is a remote display app for team speak so you can use your phone to see who's talking. It requires a lot of setup such as looking up the IP address of the computer TS is running on, enabling a plugin, and opening ports on your firewall.

Had no issues setting it up, now I can set up my tablet just under the monitor and see who joined the channel and who's talking without having to Alt-tab out of a full screen game. Just wish I could view and change to other channels with this.

Make it so I can change channel and see all the channel and it's 5 star. Only need that.

I run a ts server at home on 192.168.0.10..a local private ip address all of the Computers in the house connect to it flawlessly. This awful app fails everything. Needs fixing!

It works but useless. I guess it's nice if you have a dock right next you your monitor to run this but with overlays and keyboards with LCD displays you won't need this

To some desktop user probably its useful wen afk but Whats the point of having it on loptop? Both pc need to be on n order to use it

I would like to be able to select other or multiple channels than I am in myself
