Synchronization
With TeamDrive you can keep your data synchronized between various computers and smartphones easily and automatically. It’s like child’s play to share music, images, documents or folders of any sort with friends, family or work colleagues. TeamDrive is available for all standard operating systems.
Photo upload
The TeamDrive app includes the direct upload from the Camera App into a TeamDrive Space/Folder.
Offline synchronization
Using a TeamDrive server makes it possible to synchronize data reliably even if one or more computers or smartphones are offline. As soon as the device regains internet access, the data are automatically synchronized. You can therefore work on your documents on a plane or train, for example, without an Internet connection.
Management of access rights
There are four different levels of access that you can allocate to individual group members:
Read-Only, Read-Only (Anonymous), Read/Write, Superuser and Administrator.
Version management
With the TeamDrive version management system (versioning), you have the option to go back to earlier versions of documents and to track all of the changes made by group members.
Comments
Every group member can add as many comments to each individual version of a file as he or she wishes. Alternatively, these comments can also be sent simply by e-mail to individual group members or to the whole group.
Conflict management
TeamDrive reliably identifies any conflicts that may arise from simultaneous editing of files by different group members and offers a simple solution for resolving those conflicts.
Security
The security and confidentiality of your data is the highest priority for TeamDrive. Before TeamDrive transfers your data, they are encrypted on your computer (256 bit AES). Only you decide who has access to your data. TeamDrive has been awarded the Data Protection Seal of Privacy of the ULD.

- Read Confirmations: A Space administrator can now enable read confirmation for a Space. The date of each first read of a file version (per user) will be saved in a separate log. This log can be exported by the administrator and saved outside of TeamDrive.

Zusammenfassend kann ich dieses Tool NICHT empfehlen. Es lockte mich mit clientseitiger Verschlüsselung und dt. Servern, aber das bieten auch andere Cloud-Produkte. Das Hauptproblem sind die regelmäßigen -ich übertreibe nicht, wenn ich sage: ständigen- Abstürze. Sobald sich im Space nur ein paar Dateien ändern, ist diese App auf den anderen Geräten völlig überfordert und kommt mit dem Nachladen der Änderungen nicht mehr zurecht. Je mehr Dateien im Space liegen, desto instabiler wird die Anwendung auch. Wenn es sich dann noch um eine eigene Speicheranbindung handelt (WebDAV), dann ist alles vorbei. Ich sende seit ca. einem halben Jahr (+) brav meine Absturzberichte, aber die unzähligen Updates, die seitdem gefahren wurden haben nichts an diesem Umstand geändert. Ohne den Softwaredesignern zu nahe treten zu wollen, aber: Warum sende ich euch die Absturzberichte wohl zu? Wer also auch von Unterwegs auf seine Daten zugreifen möchte, kann mit dieser App nicht viel Anfangen (zumal die 4er-Version nur auf Windows 7+ stabil läuft; Linux nur die 3er-Version und Mobil sehr schlecht bis gar nicht).

I've been using TeamDrive for more than a year and can confirm its reliability. I've used every other "secure" cloud storage service that has Android and Microsoft desktop clients. This is the only one I've found so far that doesn't have security breaking problems. Yes the encryption is resource intensive and slow to start, but those extra five seconds are a small price to pay for constant encryption. Worth it in my opinion. (Nexus 5, Android 6.0.1)

No way to paste password into login/password box? Dumbest thing in the world... How exactly are people supposed to use long secure passwords? Memorize and type out 30 random characters every time?

Very secure because the content is encrypted on their server. Unlike TeamDrive 3, downloading any files works well and is fast on TeamDrive 4. Please add a "invite all my devices" feature, would be very useful to sync a new installation on another machine... It would be nice if we could enter ourselves precisely what cache size we want. It would be nice also to add an option to clear the cache. If we are a non commercial user, please stop annoying us with the license reminder each time we use the app.

Still unusable after update. I can complete a task maybe 1 out of 10 tries. Freeze after security pin or crash to home screen with "Teamdrive has stopped" when accessing a file. Send log crashes to Home screen instantly. Nexus 5 with Android 6, Nexus 7 with Android 5, and Pixel with Android 7. Windows desktop program works great. I can unpack my laptop, boot it up, update a file, shut it down, and pack it up in less time than it takes to get this app to work.
