TealAuto Car Mileage & Service

I've used TealAuto for a very long time now, since Palm OS days, for a few reasons. One is that it allows me to easily move my data around between devices. The Android port - as it appears to be a port rather than a rewritten application - is clunky and slow to use, but the data and flexibility from the application is where it counts. I'd love to see it rewritten to use modern standards (for example, the application contains its own keyboard), but TealAuto is one of those applications where the data obtained is more important than how I get it.

Processes info really well

Will not run properly on a Galaxy S6. Constantly crashes.

Lost 3 years of data when I got a new phone. Data didn't transfer. Needs cloud backup and GPS mileage tracker. If you don't think you need these then this is 5 stars.

Definitely needs file management attention. **By the way these guys have their app layout, they could bump in an opt (top right selection pad) for checking/expense (w/ pic receipts; better graphics) & really hit the mark. "Wish I could leave a higher rating; it is functional & accurate."

REPORTS are "read only" (except by PC). Great to be able to save/name your reports (in app only-unfortunately), need to be able to save those to file manager for printing & viewing with device word processor. Account opts are great; lack of export report is BS. The description says "report export" -* for lying.

Doesn't seem to allow 2 entries for the same day, even though the mileage should dictate is validity. Account opts are great; lack of export report is BS.

Failed to run on Samsung Galaxy Tab3

I had this app on my palm for years. Transferring data was ok. Of the choices I've seen, I like this app the best. Loading bug is fixed and runs great.

I had some problems with the app on my new phone. I notified TealPoint and they were very responsive to my request. They listened to and completely resolved the issues. In addition they kept me updated as to the progress. Thank you __tex!

Poor customer service. Awful file management. Impossible to reinstall database. Very poor desktop sync. No documentation for Android.

Good start Nice UI, useful info. Will rate 5* if data input and edit functions become less cumbersome.

I have used teal auto since the Palm Version, at least 8 years ago, and it´s the best software of this kind, I have even tryed at least 20 others softwares. Then I changend to the windows mobile, It continues to rule. But then I changend ti the iPhone, but it does not have a version for this. So I picked up my ol d palm and put it in my car. Finally I have bought and android, and to my joy TealAuto were in beta testing. So I migrated all my data to the android version and it´s working flawless.

App needs work. A good start,no ability to sort maint by catagories , strange loading in 4.0 will not load on 10" tablet.
