Unshorten for Android
Solves one of the small problems that used to drive me up the wall, but no longer unshortens half of the links, with the message "Not unshortening to avoid cycle"
The redirects from shortened URLs are annoying and this does make it a little quicker especially if there are multiple redirects so you can go directly to the app of the url (Google+, Facebook, Twitter, play store, etc) without having to go to the browser first. I've been using this app for a while now on multiple devices & still like it very much.
Its not seamless and its a little annoying that it displays the long url on the screen, everytime. Sound concept, but needs to work seamlessly behind the scenes.
I don't think it works for t.co links any longer. It goes into an unending loop.
Solves one of the small problems that used to drive me up the wall. Works pretty well.
I have it on every device, even my desktop. Imagine the information you think is transmitted with a link, then triple it and you're still not even close.
Used to be great. Recently hasn't worked out of gmail, Facebook messenger, and Google Now cards
But please add the ability to switch off the toasts - it would be perfect! And you'll get
This app is a must-have for anyone that browses the internet on Android, especially users of Twitter.
this app is great but there are several shortcut links that you don't handle, and I'd like an option to send them to you so you can have the app process them. rather than listing them here, I'd rather have an option to send it via your app interface.
I hope it let's me get back to my dateing site it kept saying I had no URL app couldn't even get to google on this device
A must have for clicking on links in Twitter app

I loved this app for the past few months of use. It's awesome! But if you're a root user I recommend Crappalinks through Xposed over this. Much deeper integration so you don't have to take that extra step to select unshorten as it already does it.
While it's great at unshortening for popular apps, it doesn't do it for all which keeps me from making it the default. For example, opening google plus through twitter shortened links opens in Chrome when it should open in the Google+ app.
First, I think the app is fantastic. Second, can there be an option to remove the toast that appears when the link is unshortened? Sometimes the unshortened version is huge and fills a good chunk of the screen for a couple of seconds.
This solves the annoyance of extra browser windows opening when a shortened link launches an app such as YouTube. Saves time and eliminates annoyance for the win!
This is the app that I was looking for. Does small but priceless job. Thank you!
OMG! I cant believe that I finally found a solution to common android problem. This is awesome!
If you use a proxied browser (Chrome beta, Opera Mini, etc.) then you have to install this app. Speeds things up incredibly.
Any researching, very helpful
Noice job xxx
Great app but it's missing an option to disable the ongoing notification in the status bar. I turned off notifications for the app, but it somehow returns when I restart my phone.
This app is so useful, I hope it gets sherlocked. This gets more use than even ZXING's Barcode Scanner (Don't forget to buy or hire the Dev. Looking at you Google.)
Active Dev too. Responds to bug reports quick. Keep it up!
What a neat solution!
ThNks much
Does exactly what it has to do, very quick.
Excellent!
Great app

Works as advertised.
Please add an option to not show a toast notification when it works.

First time I played with it, I got the message "Unshortening failed: Unable to connect to URL" which is now up on my screen covering up the keyboard and will not go away--strike that, it just went away, it just had an extremely long timeout.
I love how this app can bypass every single ads that hide the actual website. Hopefully an app like this will be created for Windows, Mac and Linux.
This app saves a lot of time and resources, especially on older devices.
I'd like to see it add support for some of the newer short URLs used by the big media sites (ABC news, ESPN, NBC news, etc.).
I'd been trying to solve the short URL / redirect problem with alternative browser choosers, but this is a much cleaner solution.
