VZ Family Locator

Total waste of money. Can't even locate any of the phones on my plan. Shows my home is a 1/2 mile away from actual location. They use an old map when neighborhood was being built. Shows empty lots where homes have been for several years. Downloaded a free app from another company that gives my exact location.

Switched from another carrier because their mobile service wasn't as good as Verizon. One feature I was counting on was family locator. It has been a complete disappointment. The other carrier's locator was much better. 8 out of 10 times Verizon's locator either can't find at least one of three phones or locates them in the wrong place. It won't even attempt to locate the one I-phone 7 we have. Can't wait until the other carrier's service gets better so we can switch back.

What a steaming pile of crap! The whole system... App, Website...Total garbage. Never seen such a simple concept made so difficult to install and use. Should have read the reviews before wasting my time.

Very unreliable and Everytime you choose to ping a phone it fires up the app of that phone. Has shown my phone in a California numerous times and I live in NY. Most times though it doesn't give any result.

Undependable, difficulty logging in with Droid razr. Desktop version difficult to find through Verizon website although once you find it functions better than app. I still use cannot find another one for Verizon. You think Verizon would fix the bugs.

Would think this app from Verizon would be smooth but no its so laggy it's ridiculous. 9.99 for this...get real and fix this trash!

It no longer works I use to like this app having truck drivers in my family it was inporten that I knew were they are but now I can't believe it no longer works

Verizon you should be ashamed of yourself charging $9.99 for an app that sucks. I have both phones sitting next to me and the app is telling me that the phone is detected 13 minutes away from me.

Is this a joke? Worst functionality of any app I've ever downloaded, let alone for 9.99 a month. LOL. Go home Verizon, you're drunk.

App is 5.0 version, directions to activate 4.9, tech support can not fix lack of connectivity issues between phone # listed, Verizon does not update directions, does not train techs to work thru issues they can only read what shows on thier computer screen, I.T. employees need more training/play with apps before releasing them, issues has been on going for over a week just to get it up and running with no luck!

Companion would not install on my kid's phone... Not compatible with a Samsung S5?!?! Totally useless app.

Locates 1 out of 10 tries, if that much. Verizon, I'm disappointed in you; you guys are suppose to be the best.

Just tried locating my child's phone that is sitting on a table in front of me. The app told me she was about two miles away. How is this level of "accuracy" useful?

I tried the free trial for about 8 hours. This is trash. Can't locate the phones even though they are right here with me! What a joke! Verizon expects people to pay $10 a month for this? Have you lost your mind, Verizon?

Worst program ever. Inaccurate and would never activate my phone and I'm the administrator for all the other phones in my phone service.

OMG, SUCH A TERRIBLE EXECUTION OF A GREAT IDEA. NOT WORTH $9.99 PER MONTH. THIS APP AND SERVICE NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS AND SHOULD STILL BE FREE.

This app hasn't worked since installing on new Samsung 7. It won't locate other phone. Interface is so lamely built. Save your money and track through google.

Shows one of our phones in the same location for 9 days. Has the date of 9 days ago. The phone is 500 miles from that location. We have turned location settings off and on and even turned phone off and on. Nothing works to reset it.

I switched to Verizon from Sprint for better phone and data coverage, which actually is better. But Verizon Family Locator is absolutely the pits.
