Access Point Switcher for Android
I was skeptical to download this app based on past reviews regarding this app requesting a lot of access, and all the users complaining about crashes and their phones acting buggy. I was pleased to see the app only asking for two permissions about downloading. Within an hour of downloading the app a friend of mine called me asking me to explain the text she received saying that she had received a coupon to Walmart, and to go to a website to claim her prize, which was a text I never sent!!!! My phone also started making static sounds when placing calls. My son who is a Software Engineer just examined my device, and said that it had recently been compromised by a backdoor being created on my phone!! I did a factory reset, and my phone is acting fine now. I do not know if the developer outsourced the development of the app, so I do not wish to point any fingers, but I would hope that if you did you would check your finished products thoroughly considering all the issues it is causing!!
Hasn't worked for weeks. Was great.
Stopped working since latest update.
Latest update not working well. Show old status. Exactly what I was looking for. A compact widget to switch wifi on and off and select the access point between two. Useful when moving closer to another access point and phone does not switch to closest wifi: one click switch is very easy.
So can I just have WiFi where ever I go ? Cause that's what I wanted and if this is awesome and works I will give this app 5 stars
It works fine. It saved my life
App is bogus. Won't let you do anything unless you pay for it. Uninstalled.
Was working. Stopped working after the Android 6.0.1 Upgrade.
I used to like the app before the widget stopped working and now I have repay in order to get the features I bought? I would have just not used the widget of I knew I had to pay again
I pay already to remove ads & more cost me a total of $4.00 and reinstalled the app and asking to pay again no good
Widget sometimes not clickable.
Great customer service, Todd trys to resolve my issue and offer me a refund. Will check again later to see if it will work again in the future
It won't switch to other saved wifi networks. Using the OS to switch wifi works without issue. You app is broken as so many others has stated! (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2)
It would be perfect, but it doesn't work. When I try to switch, the "switching to X" notification shows, but my device stays on the original network.
Would be a fantastic app if it worked. Switching network doesn't always work and wifi sometimes switches off for no reason
It does not work in Lollipop. It just shows the 2 strongest A.P but fails to connect to them....wasted money..don't know if it works properly in Kitkat and lower. Very good idea though. Support the developer and that's why I paid fire the first 0.74 Euros.
I paid the widget $1, and does not work
You really can't do anything except for buy individual features for $1, and my stock OS Wi-Fi management has actually been doing a pretty good job in comparison to this app's "Pro Features".
Shows the percentages OK but won't switch even if you press
Just what I needed, but it is kind of expensive to unlock all features though
Garbage

If you have two networksy, It is the only easy to use app. Not switching correctly any more, needs fixing
I've had multiple crashes and it is very slow to respond to inputs. I even upgraded in-app but the experience has been terrible overall. One to avoid if you're hovering over the decision to download this. Doesn't look to be actively developed anymore.
It worked fine e before. But from some one unknown reason it crashes on phone restart. And then stops switching between networks.
Keeps popping saying UNFORTUNATELY A WI-FI HAS STOPPED all the time every minute !! Disgusting
Does not work
Allows me to switch between 2 networks quickly and easily without going through settings. Absolutely no problems encountered. It would be a real bonus if you could select the 2 networks that you switch between (hint hint). Thanks developer!
Scam!
Takes a while to scan, crashes half the time but when it works one tap is fine
Great app for those of us in environments with multiple available wifi networks. Regarding some of the complaints regarding the a la carte pricing scheme, maybe the developer could just offer a pro version. For those of us that could use this app, 3-4 bucks is very reasonable.
App has a terrible pricing model. You have to pay for each feature and not just a one time small payment. Also the other reviews say the app features don't work. So I'm not even gonna try. I hope the developer understands marketing.
Switches between my main router and my extender without fail. Love this app!
Now not compatible with lollipop.
Didn't work
This is my experience. YMMV. TBSmith Enterprises has written an app that will nickel and dime you. Sure, it's "free," but it requires three separate purchases (!) of $1.00 each to reach full functionality. Really? That's ridiculous. Here's your new car; want to pay extra for the tires? Despite my careful and studious configuration, this intelligent switcher never seemed intelligent enough to find the strongest wifi source. What's more, I received a "this app has unexpectedly quit" warning at least 4 or 5 times a day. It became a pain in the rear. I finally threw in the towel and kept searching. I have settled on a "dumb" switcher: WiFi Selector Widget by kamaisan31. It allows you to place dedicated widgets on your screen; basically on/off switches for a given wifi source. Not smart, but easy to activate and works every time for me.
I bought two of the pro features, only to find out that they didn't work as I expected. It wasn't broken, just not what I needed. The problem is that, since they were in app purchases, I can't easily get a refund. You should charge for the app itself, not ask for in app purchases.
It works but the the UI buttons keep telling me to go to the paid version. I ALREADY PAID!!! Stop with the nag!
It's just what I need but doesn't do what I need it to do. Simply want to manually switch between networks in my home. The UI and widget appear to have the ability for manual switching although it doesn't work properly. Upon choosing a different wifi network via the UI or widget, it does not switch, all my networks are disabled (meaning wifi is turned on but none will connect), and I have to go into android wifi settings to select a network. Exactly what I was trying to bypass. Please fix and I'll be back
