PlayerPro DSPPack is a free digital sound processing plugin for PlayerPro. PlayerPro is an advanced music and video player for Android devices.
PlayerPro DSPPack provides an incomparable sound experience thanks to a 32/64-bit audio rendering engine that allows playback in high resolution format. Audiophiles have their own preferences as to how they enjoy sound. The DSPPack offers them a 10 band graphic equalizer, alongside booming bass and virtualizer effects and many customization options: gapless playback, cross fade, replay gain, audio limiting, audio balance etc.
PlayerPro DSPack supports a range of more than 30 different audio formats, from the very popular to the very specialized. In addition, it contains highly optimized ARM Neon and X86 routines that dramatically reduce battery consumption, making it the most battery friendly DSP plugin of the Android market.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
* From PlayerPro app, go to Settings > Audio and check the "Activate the DSP pack" option. Alternatively, if you are performing an upgrade, you need to click on the "Upgrade the DSP pack" option.
* Restart PlayerPro app for the changes to take effect (PlayerPro will ask you to do so).
* You can now access the audio effects screen via the options menu or from the player screen (EQ button).
* Use the audio settings menu to customize your preferences: adjust manual and auto crossfade time, activate gapless or replay gain, adjust left-right volume balance, adjust resampling/dithering options etc.
HIGH-RESOLUTION AUDIO:
The DSP pack comes with a 32/64-bit audio rendering engine that allows playback in high resolution format:
* Automatic detection of internal and USB DAC configurations.
* Direct output to internal/USB DAC format without any limitation.
* Support of bit depths and sampling rates up to 32-bit and 384 kHz.
* Choice between SW (high quality) and SoX (very high quality) resamplers.
* Ability to change the resampler dithering method.
* You can check the output sampling rate in Settings / Audio / Resampler section.
* Make sure the "Use 32 bit output" option is checked for high-resolution playback (automatically configured).

TROUBLESHOOTING.
In case you experience playback skipping, you can try one of the following:
* Increase the audio buffer: from the Settings / Audio menu, change the "Audio buffer" value to "Very large".
* Change the equalizer implementation: from the Settings / Audio menu, change the "Equalizer" value to "Playerpro low-end".
* Change the resampler implementation: from the Settings / Audio menu, change the "Resampler" value to "SW resampler".
* Disable the dithering: from the Settings / Audio menu, change the "Dithering method" value to "None".
* Disable 32 bit output format: from the Settings / Audio menu, uncheck the "Use 32 bit output" checkbox (this will disable high-resolution audio).

a year ago, i never, ever, encountered any skipping and force exited dsp pack until this year recently (i dont remember since ver what this happened). checked that this dsp app uses almost all of my free ram space (i know my 2012 flagship galaxy isnt good nowadays but i ever did saw that this uses amost half of my ram then the app stopped itself). but for sure, recently the notification reports 24bit flac playback though (which is great). if a log is necessary, pls tell me how. thanks for great dsp.

Found that if i play songs using PlayerPro for hours that the app making my phone to restart. It feels like the app keeping the temp files when playerpro is used, what i mean is it keep storing temp data at RAM and that make the app running wild and my phone can't hold it and restart or crash the app cuz of it. Please fix this problem, i'm using OPPO Joy R1001.

Playerpro is awesome and i want to buy it. There is no other player to match this in the market yet but please fix this bug... The latest version has a really annoying sound when skipping tracks and it happens only with the dsp pack...

Best allround player ive used i tried a $hi! Ton of audio and video players and well they dont come close and dont lemme ad the dsp pack it gets loud n crisp uve gotta give this app a try u will love it if Not right away as soon as u learn how to use the dsp pack! Good job on the development of this app! Keep up the good work i look forqard to tour next versions!

Since the last few updates (2 months ago) the crossfade has stopped working properly. Between tracks the audio skips while crossfading. This never happened before. Crossfade is the reason I bought this app. Please fix immediately as this is an awesome music player!!

This pack no longer works with Nougat on S6 edge+. Instead your ears will bleed with super loud static at maximum volume no matter what you try to play.

Update Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + to Nougat and now app causes playerpro to emit a screeching noise if you play from headphones regardless of what volume the phone is set as. It's deafening. Playing without headphones first and connecting headphones while music is playing lets the music play fine until the next song starts. It's annoying and I can't use it anymore

[Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge] Since the last update de DSP pack isn't compatible anymore. When selecting it and activating it, it ask to relaunch the app to finish or install it if not already installed but once the app relaunch. The DSP pack is not activated and do this every time in loop. It sucks because it's the best feature of this app that makes it better then poweramp. Respond to this msg if you want me to tell you what I did.
