About Pedometer

"Pedometer" records the number of steps you have walked and displays them again along with the number of calories that you have burned, distance, walking time and speed per hour.

It is easy to use. Once you push the Start button, all you have to do is hold your smartphone as you always do and walk.
Of course, it will continue to automatically record your steps even if you put it in your pocket or bag.

You can view a graph with the number of steps you have walked and all other information anytime.
Let's enjoy walking with this app!

How to use
- Touch on the number of steps, burned calories, distance, walking time, or speed to display the graph with that information.
- Touch the graph to highlight information data for a specific time or date.
- Swipe to the left to see the data recorded until the previous day.
- If you want to change the look of the app, change the theme.
- In order to display the correct number of burned calories, please enter your age, gender, weight and step length accurately.
- In order to display the correct distance and speed, please enter your step length accurately.

Important
- Some devices will not record the number of steps when they are locked. This depends exclusively on the specifications of each device and it is not a bug of the app.
- If you find errors in the number of steps recorded, please adjust the sensitivity.

The results of pedometer looks ok as you walk, but most of the time it overestimates the steps especially when you have set in your hand and you move a little bit here and there (not walking properly). It is better if the device adjusts the steps length automatically for accuracy and then it correspondingly compares and draws the steps of various amplitudes to the distance covered.

by M####:

Worst app...don't download it.... As if you just walk 4 steps it would count it 14-24 and sometimes 50 and the calorie counter is increasing so fast which makes you think that you are doing tremendously fine with this much less efforts... Guys don't make yourself fool...check it once before believing...and PACER is far better than this...either pedometer app developer should work and improve it or guys just compare this app with others.. And be conscious about what is happening.

It does what it promises, it does it well. One thing I would like, is for the step count to display on the Android drop menu. "Pedometer" is there, but that's it, on a mint green background....I feel like there should be at least some information there as well. Besides that, app work well. You'll definitely have to calibrate it...it was counting a little fast for me on default settings. It runs well and accurately in the background and is not a resource hog like some other backgrounder apps can be.

M70%
by M####:

No bells/whistles which is nice. It has one unique asset most other walking apps lack. An adjustment for stride length. Using this, you can "calibrate" the app to known distances using google maps GPS and make it very accurate. BUT - for me on my Note 5, app stops working - often. This is a big prob. Buffer overload or something. It's otherwise a great app.

by M####:

I use it for work and I am floored by how many miles I walk a day! It does not seem ultra sensitive and only records real steps...I walked 13 miles in 6 hours one day doing my production warehouse work. My feet hurt, but at least I can show people this great app!

M70%
by M####:

As good as you'll probably get for a free app. You may have to fiddle with the settings to get more accurate step counts (I've had to turn the sensitivity right down to 1), but it's pretty comprehensive info/stat wise. Makes you more determined to walk more and beat precious step counts... don't say you haven't been warned

M70%
by M####:

I had to put sensitivity all the way down to get the most accurate counts. Interface is easy to figure out, very intuitive. I knew I walked a lot working in a warehouse and being a supervisor, but I didn't realize I would average five and a half miles a night. No wonder I can eat whatever I want. VERY GOOD APP. ABOUT 95% ACCURATE, on my phone in my front pocket.

I was very sceptical to any pedometer app, but I decided to give this one a go. I am positively surprised to how good it works. It doesn't seem to use alot of battery either, and I like how you have three settings for how much it uses. I have it on the middle setting and it works really well. I also love that it shows the distance, speed and time for the walking. Helps you compare walks easily. I recommend this app alot!

M70%
by M####:

It's great. It's really accurate! The only improvement I could suggest is a way to input sport practices or work that people can't have their phone with them. If it could be possible to input a number or hours and select "sport" or "work" or something, and the pedometer can take it into account, not in steps, but in calories or something, it would be FANTASTIC but as of now, it does what it needs to, and it does it very well.

I love this app, it really lets me see how far, I can travel inside 4 walls in 8-10 hr increments. Lol only issue I've noticed is every couple of days or so, when I realized I haven't actually checked the app, although it still shows its running, it will not record 3-4 days worth of data, and then will just pick back up again. I've checked all the settings nothings causing it to my knowledge that I've seen. So maybe just an adjustment to that and I'd say perfect.

M70%
by M####:

It's not bad, it can be a little slow at times. First thing in morning for some reason when I first look at the app it still has the previous days info on display. I have to go back to previous days and then forward again to today's info. The stop button does not appear to work. Also on Xperia phone it stops stamina mode from working so battery needs changing more often. It does work accurately tho.

M70%
by M####:

Seems to be accurate as long as you put correct stride length in settings. Update, 18th April 2017- uninstalled for a short while to try Google fit but this works better for a basic walking app. Very pleased with this & will keep it now. Shame there isn't a paid version to get rid of the ads though.

M70%
by M####:

It's simple and easy to manage. I keep it on all the time so I know total steps in a day and it automatically moves to another day without me having to stop and start it. I like the econo mode. Tried some others when I switched phones, but there were too many bells and whistles.

H70%
by H####:

I have been using the app for nearly a month now. It is stable. I like the ability to set auto start and stop times, and being able to tweak the sensitivity of step measurement. I have noticed some lag in the step counter during fast walking. I combine this with a PC based stand up and take a break program, and I get my daily quota of steps.

by M####:

This is the 3rd time I've changed my review. First I gave it 5 stars. Loved it. No problems. Then suddenly it started switching itself off. Changed review to 3 stars but decided to stick with it. Now I've had enough. I rate it 0 stars as it's switched off twice in the last week and I've just done a lovely long walk to find it off again. I give up. I'm uninstalling it.

This app is just what I needed and I use it daily. It operates without any internet connection too, which is great since I have no connection for a portion of my work day. the step counter to is accurate and didn't need to adjust the sensitivity from the default. Love the graphs for day/week / month. And the details for speed, time Ect.

by M####:

I love having a pedometer on my phone, tracks my steps and it's not another gadget to remember in the morning. Easy to set up, accurate and simple to decipher! It also gives an hour-by-hour break down of steps, so it makes it really obvious when I've been a bit sedentary (usually after 6pm!)

C70%
by C####:

It's an awesome app if you want to keep track of how many steps you walk daily. Doesn't take up much space and doesn't clog the phone up or make it slow. Easy to use. I wonder if it's wrong sometimes since I don't think I actually walk so many steps, or it Atleast doesn't feel like I go. Overall, a good app.

Z70%
by Z####:

I like this because it is super simple and easy to use, and a bit of a motivator. Keeps tabs on my steps, though when it comes to walking down or up hills or mounds and such, it might get thrown off a step or few, but no worries because it is still pretty accurate overall. I like keeping track of time I walk, distance, and calories burned. I recommend it.

S70%

The app it's fantastic. I use it during all my walks. It's very accurate and I didn't have any problems in use or during monitoration of my exercise. But I would like to suggest a little improvement in the app: I noticed a little problem in monitoring my exercise during the run. The steps is not count perfectly. As well the app is very awesome and works very well for me. Congratulations for this good app!!!

J70%
by J####:

Love this app, am always surprised at how many steps I've walked and how that equates into miles and calories burned. I find it easy to use and 100% accurate. Will continue to use. The only thing I would add is, I'm unable to track my distance when on the running machine and cross trainer, would be great to have an option to add this info to get a better idea on gym days.

M70%
by M####:

It's not 100% precise but averages out well. Certainly, accurate enough! I'm surprised that having it inspires me to get off my butt and move. I find myself stepping during TV commercials, so it's good for my eyes, wallet, butt, legs and heart, all at the same time!

Z70%
by Z####:

Nice basic pedometer that counts every step. I tried a few others that didn't add in steps if it was less than 10 at a time, or lost track of the day's steps if it got closed by mistake. This one actually counts every step and remembers them. I can view my steps for the past week or month, to check progress. It would be nice if the icon at the top of my phone listed the day's steps so far, instead of just the footprint image, but clicking on the app isn't too hard.

This is a great app. I use it when we go walking on the sea front where we live and it gives me all the info on how far I've walked, how many steps taken and how many calories burned. I can also see this info for one day, one week or one month as it keeps all details until you clear them. Brilliant!!!

M70%
by M####:

Great for what I want it for. Just knowing how many steps I've done. There is more to it though. Tells you calories Burt, how long it took you to walk those steps and works out how far you walked. Just be careful that when your traveling by car or bus it's not counting steps. I turned the sensitivity down and it doesn't do it now. All in all a good little app

This is by far my most favorite app I have! I didn't know tat that I walk over 110 miles a month! This app makes my want to walk, well also: my daughter n I compete to see who does the most or best at everything this app follows! It even counts my steps from inside my purse! I LOVE it, wouldn't change a thing!

Flawless v pleased. Tried a few and this is best by far. And it's free! Wrote that a month ago. Has an update made it become so inaccurate it, sometimes doubles every step? It suddenly started doing this. Changing settings made no difference at all. Uninstalled

M70%
by M####:

Love this App especially since I can listen to my Pandora radio while using the app. It is actually right on once you configure it in the settings. I did not have to adjust it to read the steps correctly. But I did adjust the step length. I keep it on all day at work, and it does not use all my battery juice.. I just love this app!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some people going on about only 4 stars cos it doesn't work with some gadget they bought. More fool them. This is a fI've star app, no hidden access requests and intuse adds. Very light on battery on my Samsung Galaxy s5.

8th jan 2017.download.installs ok.no fc issues.works.as.advertised however I can not seem to get every session to start.ie. single days mon works ok.then I can't start tues. Same with weekly ones.am I doing something wrong?

It doesn't work well at all. If I move my phone here and there without taking any step, it continues to count the step then too. If you fix it in your next version please keep me informed. My phone is redmi 4 Prime. Thank you.

M70%
by M####:

None of those ridiculous app permissions needed. Accurate when you enter your stride properly. Helps motivate me to move, Especially when I look at my monthly and weekly steps. Gives me all the info I need without any bogus battery draining features. Highly recommended. Thanks for an awesome free app!

M70%
by M####:

Easy to use, makes you frustrated you left your phone behind when you walked the dog. Calibrating is somewhat uncertain as wife and I both counted off 200 steps, compared distance apart and use that to refine initial 'stride length in inches. Still come up 1/8 of a mile different readings on 2 mile walk. But it is a fairly repeatable bench Mark for comparable daily activity.

F70%
by F####:

All I want to know is that I get my daily step count in. This app does that and does it perfectly! I really would like to purchase an add-free pro version and also backup to Dropbox. Still, can't get better than this.

M70%
by M####:

Ok once you have adjusted settings to your stride length. If not looked at it for a while steps stop counting in display although it seems to keep running, then picks up eventually, so frustrating as can't see what you're doing.

M70%
by M####:

Step count should reflect in the notification bar, but overall better than google fit app, which I tried for two months and switched to this one. once it stopped working and showed two instances of same day..but that's the only problem I faced

J70%
by J####:

This is a great app. I like it a lot. Very very accurate. The only problem I'm having on my new pixel XL phone is every day I have to go back and stop it, meaning stop in app in my settings and restart it to get it to start a new day. If it wasn't for that, I would give it a 5 star rating.

S70%
by S####:

OK, but sometimes it just stops counting. Sometimes it forgets to update values even if internally it's still counting. Sometimes the value for a day will be different for that day in week view that will be different to that day in the month view and then, at some random point, it'll update. It seems to use a lot of battery despite going for the lower power setting/consumption options. It's encouraging me to walk more even if, quite often, I can't tell, using this how far I've actually walked. Oh, and support has responded to my emails.

R70%
by R####:

This has been great to use in our works pedometer challenge. It doesn't seem to suck the battery and there are useful power saving modes. However it doesn't seem to catch all your steps in thos mode. I like the simple graph showing what you did at what time and the simple & useful memory. Great!

Z70%
by Z####:

Glad I don't have to start and stop it every time I walk but wish it linked to some of my other apps like MyFitnessPal or the Baritastic app so I didn't have to go back and forth to enter the information. But it's a great app. Just push start and let it go. Never have to push stop or start again. Love how it does a graph of your walking each day so you can see where you took the most steps.
