Updated Android to Nugat , app doesnt work now. Shame I wasted my money on the scale. I'm sure if this company had any shame, they would be so . all so many other Bluetooth scale app are rated well above this one.

After almost a year of it working off and on, the app has finally stopped even opening on my phone. Completely useless at this point. Such a shame, I really wanted to like this program.

This app worked fine the first week I used it and now it's hit or miss if my phone finds the scale. I've had to reinstall, hard resets, and nothing is working. Time to find a smarter scale and app with more consistency.

Garbage

TOTAL waste of money. Once they have your money they don't give a F$@#about you as a customer. They just want your money. Numerous connection issues. Now it won't even connect via Blue tooth. I have tried all their Troubleshooting and nothing. Don't expect to never hear from Tech/Customer support...I think that it's non existent.

Doesn't sync with myfitness pal. Returning the scale tomorrow.

Nothing happens when i open the app. Uninstall and re download, still nothing happens.

Won't get past splash page on pixel 2xl.

The update of the Bluetooth part of the update does not work.

It looks like the Android app is non functional.

The app has to be open while transferring data from scale to app which is why I gave it 4 stars, other than that no problems works fine for me.

As of 2/26/18,app appears to no longer function on Samsung devices.

App will not open, stuck on opening screen, deleted and redownloaded but same problem

Have only used app for about a month and now frozen on homescreen. Installed update, still frozen! I'm not the only one having the same issue; read other reviews!

Stupid app won't run after update. Reinstalled and nothing.

Loved the app... BUT it would not open this morning, so I did the update and it still won't open... just stays on splash page...ugh!

This app doesn't even open anymore, it gets stuck on the splash screen. The thing was written by amateurs.

Tried to open the app yesterday and it will not open. I was been having problems getting it to transfer data, finally got it to transfer day before yesterday, now the app won't open.

It keeps kicking me out and then won't log me back in. I really love this app but not when it doesn't work. That's the main reason I bought the scale in the first place...

Installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled 5 times but app won't open. I like the scale, but I bought it because it was supposed to have an app to track my progress. But the app doesn't work. Wish I bought something else.

You should fire the development team you have. This app never works right for more than a month at a time. Now it doesn't even open. Update 3/10/2018: even worse than before.

Had the same connectivity issues as others. Worked fine for awhile then suddenly could not connect bluetooth. Uninstalled app on phone and then reinstalled. Now the product is working fine. Update: 3/5/18. The app now crashes as it is reading the info from the scale.

Buggy as hell. Works randomly. Completely stopped working 3 days ago. Bluetooth connection is trash and the app itself is horrific.

Downloaded app on 2/15/18. Did not work. Tried forever to get it to work. Including uninstalling and redownloading app. On 2/19/18 tried again and it still did not work. Got a hold of customer support and they had me uninstall and redownload app again (thought they were crazy since I had already done that several times just 3 days before). That time it fixed it. Don't know if the app updated or not in the meantime but it works great now. App only connects with myfitnesspal. Also I run Verizon galaxy note 8 with android 7.1.1. That should be Bluetooth version 4.2 I believe.

The app worked fine for about a year, then my phone updated to Android 7.0 and the fine people at Taylor Precision don't know how to fix the problem. Which is my device will not link up to my scale via Bluetooth, which it did fine running 6.0. The one star is that it worked fine before, the lack of customer service is why there are no more. If the app is not compatible with my device, just tell me that instead of not helping me for over a month. New update added verbiage that the app is communicating with the scale!! Still doesn't work, but someone did something.

Sucks. Feel like I have been swindled, since I bought their $60 scale based on their advertising of all the functions the app would provide. Sadly it crashes and you lose all your historical data. Very disappointed. Why don't you invest in your app and fix it?

UPDATE: 2/21/18, The latest app update says it improves the blue tooth reliability. However, now it crashes every time it receives data from the scale! UPDATE: Now the app won't even start. All I get is the splash page with the runner. I'm sorry I bought this scale! Latest update crashes every time my scale sends data to my Samsung S4. Also, there is no way to export data for analysis in Excel or any other tools.

Well up to a week ago, pre update the app worked fine. Now it will not even run. It opens up and stays on the opening "runner "screen . I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still doesn't work

1) Data from scale to App always flaky but now has no connection for over a month. 2) Never has been ability to electronically copy data. Either share data to another fitness app, which requires a payment to retrieve the data, or manually transcribe the data, which I could do with any scale. DO NOT BUY THIS SCALE.

RIP OFF ALERT! If you bought a Taylor scale and are looking here for help, RETURN the scale now. I'm on the third year without app working and no help from Taylor. Edit: Version 2.0.6 was supposed to fix Nougat issue, but it does not. Still a worthless product. Edit:Aug 2017 - Still not working with Nougat. Worthless. Edit-Sep 13,2017 - Still not working. Good job Taylor! Edit: Mar 4, 2018 Another year, another update. Still doesn't work on Nougat and above. Could Taylor be any more incompetent?

I created a support case with Taylor and over a period of several weeks, got great customer services from Taylor and great tech support from the developer. They worked with me to resolve my issue. I can now sync with Map My Fitness as promised. They have also released 2 updates since that time and no longer claim to sync with the other apps which is fine and accurate. Its not elaborate, but it works..Thanks Taylor!
