Had this app for years with no issues even on new Note 5 until Lollipop update. Keeps saying "unfortunately digital recipe has stopped". When I go into applications and "force stop" from there, it finally quits giving me that error message at least until I reboot the phone or open the app again.

Keeps crashing even when not being used. I see several complaints about the same issue and no response in several months from the developer. I guess its safe to assume this app is a dead app with no fix.

... literally every 30 seconds or so WHEN I'M NOT USING IT!!! I love this app, but it's completely screwing up my ability to use my phone! WTF, Dudes?

I've had this app for years and I've loved it until now. Constantly force closes even when I'm not using it. Please fix this or I'm going to have to find another app!

Used to work awesome and loved it... Now I can't even update it... Fails every time. Not to mention the tons of app crashes when it's not even in use.

This was a great app until the recent lollipop update.... Now it doesn't work!

It was great until the last system update. Kinda bad there isn't a working version for Kit Kat. Hint to developer. It opens to the base program if I press open instead of Uninstall. Cant import or open existing recipes though.

So useful

This is a very handy app, but lately I noticed that it runs on startup for some ridiculous reason. There are no options to turn that off either. Please remove it as it unnecessarily slows down the device. Also, importing from arbitrary pages would be sweet.

Why does a recipe app need to be running background services - which crash on a daily basis, by the way.

Recent google update probably to talk has caused it to force close.

Loved it.... until lollipop. Now it just crashes every time I try to open it and I can no longer access any of my recipes. Is this ever going to be updated for the new OS?

Loved this app. But I think a recent update of Google services had rendered it unusable.

I love the app but i needed a app that could adjust my yields this does BUT it dont calculate the amounts the way i would prefer. ex: if i need to adjust my yeild by say 6 batches my 1tsp is written 6 tbl not a half cup i wanted to use this app at work so i would be adjusting by like 32 and counting out the 32tsp would be rather time consuming rather than just doing heavy half cup that i would need for such a job anyway that could a quick fix or any suggestions?

Love this!!! Just took a while before I get used with the features in this apps, then .... all done. Recommended for anybody who want to save recipes from any source like text, email, and web

at start up from icon placed on google now launcher desktop, app crashes. Launched from quickdroid or sharing menu, it works (great!)

My go to app for the first storing my recipes

The app itself works fine, but importing from the only site available anymore (where'd the others go?) doesn't seem to work, possibly due to layout changes on their end, depending on how the app parses the page. Been using this app since I started learning to cook, but isn't as useful as it once was.

This little app really does a great job and I'm looking forward to using it to find more recipes. It would be even better if you restored the ability to download from the other websites.

I did like it more when there was more than one site to import from, and it would be great if I could sort my recipes into folders to categorize

It ran some import which left me with a selection of recipes. But I tried searching for something different and it left me with an empty screen. So I pick a recipe from the default ones,clicked start cooking and it wanted to download a language pack. I cancelled this and it crashed.

Fun and easy to use!

I'll ask it one thing, it answers, then won't respond to any of my questions. Uninstalling.

Importing recipes from outside websites is broken.

I really like this app. I love the voice recognition features One of the other good features is that it allows you to modify your ingredients if you think it's not quite right.... And its all there for next time you cook it! I does have a slight learning curve but it doesn't take to long to learn. On the downside, there isn't much documentation/help that I have found.

Can you put a delay before it says I don't understand and then proceed to read the instruction like normal after you tell it a command. Or just fix it.

I loved this app for over a year until I got a new phone and had to export import to my new phone. I was finally able to transfer all my recipes (the process was clunky) but it didn't have a provision to capture all my notes and changes to the recipes. This is a huge drawback and forces me to find another app. If you will ALWAYS have the same phone and or you don't change the recipes I can give this 4 stars. If you like to add some notes and feel you could change phones you might wish to look elsewhere.

Still says "I don't" before saying the next step. Still doesn't speak the very first step. Still stops responding to voice commands after a few minutes. I've completely given up on the verbal aspects of this app, since they are so flaky, and just used it as a recipe database and display, of which it does an ok job.

I love the fact that not only can I put down recipes in an easy to get to app, but you can email the recipes as well. Awesome app. The only thing I can think of to make it better might be some way to put voice recognition or some way to be hands-free as when you are cooking, your hands aren't always the cleanest.

The tool to link the ingredients to the specific step are not intuitive. Aside from that, they hit this one out of the park! Bravo!

Just needs to allow search/display by category and it would be absolutely perfect. Still fully deserves 5 stars though. Easy to use, does exactly what it says it does without any problems. I have tried others and nothing comes close. Superb.

Having trouble trying to import recipes keeps crashing. I've added a few manually and thsts worked ok.
