EDIT UPDATE- both the trial version and pay version clear all the settings back to default -no settings - after a couple minutes. I know it's saving them because I checked. After a couple minutes I see my wifi switching back to the unsecured network I had set to ignore. I open the app and everything is cleared out. If it did work it would probably be what I need, but it doesn't so it's useless to me.

I needed my phone and tablet to select the 5ghz WiFi instead of the 2.4ghz WiFi as even though it's a weaker signal it has a much faster throughput for streaming. This app has the option to prioritise 5ghz by artificially boosting it's detected strength. Now we can stream in the bedrooms furthest from the router where the 5ghz signal is weaker. Perfect!

How can I force 5ghz network connection? I don't want to connect to 2.4ghz at all. I have strong 5ghz signal enough but it keep reconnecting to 2.4 even when I set preferable 5ghz.

Does what it is supposed to do, but it will drop a faster 5ghz signal for a slower 2.4ghz signal bec 2.4ghz is almost always stronger. Needs a separate option to configure strength difference of 5ghz.
