Smart Sound Profiles Trial

Very good app. It would be a 5-star for one or more of the following. Flip to silent is good but would be better if flip to specified profile (like VIPs only). Also when defining exceptions, would be nice if I can define multiple contacts/groups instead of an exception for each since most will get same exception profile.

This is the only app that does exactly what it says. All other apps I tried, don't really unlink the ringer from the notification. They all used the highest volume between the ringer and notification for both. This app really gives you separate volumes for the ringer and notification. It's great app. I LOVE it

It doesn't work on Vivo V3Max lollipop 5.1.1. I only want a function it auto switch high volume profile when in day and low volume profile in night. It looks like has been killed by android system? The date is incorrect too. why it is 07-12-1969 ?

Great app. Does what it says. Any plans to incorporate 'WiFi connected' as profile trigger? (WiFi1 "OR" WiFi2 etc then activate profile would be great) My schedule is not regular enough for timed but when I'm in any office I'm always connected to WiFi - so WiFi is better trigger for me.

As title says, app looks great and has all the functionality I need from it, however it doesn't seem to be able to change ringer volume on my LG G4, Android 5.1. Should some update fix this, I am buying the app immediately.

I wanted to assign notifications to apps that don't support changes during the day and use defaults at night. Works perfectly. Only thing missing is changing profile based on calendar.

The fact that the sounds for calls, SMS and notifications can be handled separately is what's made me toss a similar app that I paid $10 for in favour of this one. Where's the logic in being able to hear your VIPs when they call, but not when they text? My guess is those other developers don't know how to unbind the sounds from one another and treat them separately. Thankfully this developer does, and I am one happy camper. Be sure to read the important instructions.

I've only had the app for a week or so. My old apps that worked on ICS and 4.4.1 for the att SGS3 don't work for this new, otherwise amazingly nice unit. The unbelievable anti-wisdom which caused the AOPS folks to lock system, ringtone and alert/notifications together has caused me no end of grief since switching phones! This app seems to function correctly most of the time, the latter qualifier being the reason for my four star rating. Something, whether it's annother user or system app, or the OS itself interferes occasionally and I've noticed the ringtone volume reduced to the setting I've set for the daytime profile for text alerts. I'll update when if and when I've discovered a solution.

Tried plenty audio manager apps. They all consist of the worst quality coding I've seen thus far in any android app. This app finally fixes the most annoying issue I've experienced. Linking of ringer and notification audio volume. Wtf... Anyway this app enforces your audio volumes for real. Even the volume ramping works!!! Well done. It would be nice to start with system boot. Very well designed app, so good I bought it despite my issues with it. It's a perfect app for users of Android 4x, but in Lollipop while still great, there's some functionality lacking . For example, If I create a profile called Work, and set everything to silent except Alarms, SMS and Ringer, and I just set ringer and notifications to 1/7 volume while disabling the vibrate, these settings will be ignored, and the phone will vibrate when receiving SMS despite what I've set.

I've always wanted only specific apps to have their notifications silenced at certain times of the day. CyanogenMod profiles was perfect, but I've had to give it up completely. Then I had a super complicated system setup in Tasker to do the same thing, but it was too difficult to maintain. I then switched to Ringleader, integrated with Tasker to create a schedule, and that was basically an automation for what I had been previously been using Tasker for. Ringleader was unreliable and would frequently stop switching files for notification sounds. So far, Smart Sound Profiles seems to do everything that I had previously been cobbling together a solution for, and gives the added benefit of allowing different volume for ringer/notification. The only other thing I would ask for is grouping applications together, to easily set the same sound across different profiles. It will make setup just a little bit quicker, but the end result will stay the same.

Perfect to easily get your phone into a sleep profile to get calls and not notifications and then get back to normal in the morning when you wake up. And, yes, this actually works with the new stupid Google update that linked the ringer and the notifications sounds together.

I love this app. The fact that I can control all notifications in one place (after a long set up process) this is as close to blackberry profiles as you get. I do wish there was an option to open an app when switching to a specific profile ( ie switch to silent or 'sleep' profile that I created and it opens my bedside clock app). That would be awesome.

Nothing really to say, does what it does as well as you would expect. The design isn't very pretty, but the functionality is on point.

Tried dozens of apps.....ds z by far the best.....go fr it...a little problm...while selecting groups It evn shows the 1s that I have deleted n no longer exist on my fone....whyy..that sud b fixd..... then it rely deserves 5 stars
