Smart Sound Profiles

Worked great (except for mms) up until a few weeks ago. Now the custom sounds per person work for the first 2 minutes they are set then the default to the default sounds. Waiting for assistance on this one. Verizon galaxy s7.

It's a miracle! I've got a Nexus 6 on Android 7.1.1 and I can finally separate my ringtone from notification volumes at night! This actually works! Absolutely worth $2.26.

Thank you SO MUCH for fixing the Motorola issue. It works perfectly now - back to a 5 star rating.

Great app.

Have to reduce the rating. Running Nougat on Nexus 6P. Recent updates now result in alerts/sounds even when the profile is set to silent. Have to manually select the profile to get the phone to behave as desired. Rather annoying when this happens at 2 in the morning and an alert goes off that should be silent. Still the best app I have seen, but this recent bug is rather bad. :-(

Phone exceptions no longer work. Makes it useful for me. Had to buy another app.

I have made numerous new profiles and I've ensured each one of them has the loudest volume for each setting yet every time I select one all volumes drop to zero (ie. My phone goes into silent mode). Very disappointed- as an emergency services worker I am lucky I didn't miss a call out due to this app silencing my phone!

This is a great app. I use it with an app to create audio files of spoken text to assign speaking notifications during the day, and regular chimes at night. The only thing missing is the ability to switch to a vibrate profile based on my calendar, though I just might not know how to do that.

This is a must-have app for Android.

Excellent app. I run CM13 and there are a few quirky things. Individual contact overrides do not always work - sometimes the default tone is used or the tone for a group in which the individual is a member. Much better than other apps I have tried.

Everything android should have had from the begining! Purchased it, after only a half an our of testing: obviously elegant, logical, thorough, mature. Great work, congratulations to the author! Worth buying, best recommendations!

Thrilled to have found an app that allows you to permit SEPARATE call and/or SMS notifications when your phone's on silent mode. Works like a charm, every single time. I highly recommend it. Sleep undisturbed, secure in the knowledge that the people who need to reach you can do just that, without fail.

Seems to nor work and change all the sounds requested. Twice now, the system sounds states silent. Requesting refund.

Great app and wouldn't be without it however it does not work correctly with latest android update. Notifications do not work correctly

Quickly change notifications to custom settings.

Very smooth to remind you at any time, of anything. Versatile and reliable.

Lacks ability to mute system vibrate. Other than that, great app.

I use it for unique ringtones and notifications for contacts. Unique notifications for apps. But the most value is programming when to go into a specific profile (vibrate) - for regular daily and weekly meetings.

I have tired numerous volume apps and numerous ones have been uninstalled. This one I'm keep. Has everything I've looked for and more. Great app.

I had some issues initially but the developer was very helpful in helping me figure it out.

Enjoying the app but one annoyance is that when answering a call, the vibration does not stop for several moments after the ringing stops and I try to start my conversation. I have to tell the caller to wait a moment for the vibrating to stop before I can engage in conversation.

The don't vibrate setting doesn't work on custom profiles.

Great app, best so far I have been able to find. And even have option to increase slowly ringtone which is a must option for me. I have been using up to now another great app for this sole purpose "Increasingly ringer volume", but as I have here all in one package, will stick with Smart Sound profiles.

My problem was fixed by removing the file like Alexander suggested. That was a very quick response from the developer! Thanks! - - Used to be okay, now keeps crashing on lollipop...

Actually unlinks ringer and notification sounds. Only issue that I have with lollipop is that my sms notification refuses to play. Once that's fixed, it will be a 5 star app again.

I like the way it givens me control on the volume settings.

Very well designed app, so good I bought it despite my issues with it. It's a perfect app for users of Android 4x, but in Lollipop while still great, there's some functionality lacking . For example, If I create a profile called Work, and set everything to silent except Alarms, SMS and Ringer, and I just set ringer and notifications to 1/7 volume while disabling the vibrate, these settings will be ignored, and the phone will vibrate when receiving SMS despite what I've set. This occurs with Hangouts disabled.

Sound notification is audible for spam SMS messages with proprietary spam filter enabled.

On Samsung S4 it is functioning properly. Very robust with customizations. Definitely a must have app. Also the support by the developer "Alex Tartar" is very reliable and efficient as I reported to him a couple of issues earlier and he was competently responsive.
