RCsec

Android app for both professionals and students in the construction field. It allows the user to easily define a reinforced concrete (RC) cross-section of a beam type structural member and carry out verification and design of the bending and shear ultimate limite state (ULS) according to the Eurocode 2 (EC2) and the Spanish code (EHE08).

The verification and design of the bending ULS is calculated by the integration of the stress by means of the rectangular diagram method.

The verification and design of the shear ULS is carried out as indicated in the regulations.

Limitations of RCsec with respect to RCsec PRO:

- Cross-section available types: rectangular.
(RCsec PRO: rectangular, T shape, Inverted T shape, Double T shape, Box shape).

- The bending stresses do not influence the shear verification and design.
(RCsec PRO: the bending stresses influence is taken into account in the the shear verification and design).
