Target - now with Cartwheel for Android
Terrible App for shopping online. I searched for LED Christmas tree lights, it had 743 results on the On Line section. All of them were either Not Available or In Store Only. Totally worthless for On Line shopping.
This may not be the apps fault but got damn 3.99 in tax???!?!?! WHAT IS THIS CANADA?? IF I WANTED TO PAY THAT MUCH IN TAX I WOULD GO TO MY TIME machine and go back to when the native Americans defaced the tea barrels back in 1773 and tell em' to stop.
Great app. Easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was a way to add your driver's license to the wallet so another thing doesn't have to be scanned for items requiring age verification.
I love this App, easy and rewarding. Being a mother of two sometimes I don't want to always go in store to shop, so the fact I can shop and order to pick or have items shipped to me at my fingertips is so convenient.
Why no Drive Up for Android!?!?! Wish it had the Drive Up features like the iOS app. This is really dumb you can't do this if you own Android. Also, wallet is cool but why do I have to login again after I do my fingerprint? Fix it please!!!
This app is absolute garbage. The sign in doesn't work properly, and the app takes you to Target's website?! If I wanted to go to the website, I would. When I download an app, I expect an app, not a website gateway. This app is absolutely useless.
Love this app, but can't log in to make payments from my phone! The link to sign in for my redcard payments always takes me to forgot password instead. I end up having to make my payment from a desktop computer or in-store...very frustrated.
The app keeps linking me to the target website telling me I'm logged in. I can't add anything to my cartwheel due to error message. Having linked the target/catwheel account into one app has been a horrible experience so far. I loved it when it was separate.
I wish we could still easily combine gift cards on this app. I earn target gift cards from websites like Swagbucks and it's a pain to have to scan each one individually at the check out, especially since we need an authorization code for each one now.
Would be helpful if app would automatically zone in on the store I'm shopping in, rather than me having to search for the option to manually change the store. App scanner isn't reliable.
Worst decision ever!!! Can now only use cartwheel with redcard. If you have a gift card it can't be used with this app at all. You have to pay separately and then no cartwheel deals will apply. Not only that but it signs you out every 5 minutes so if you have a big shopping day planned....be prepared to keep logging in.
Constantly have to close and reopen the app to get my shopping done. It won't add items to my cart and then checkout is a hassle. I have a newer tablet but the app is not optimized for my device.
I like it. Good for browsing ads and it's easier to find clothes than the actual store. Cartwheel is great but it's not always user friendly because as soon as you learn to use it they update it and it's totally different. I use it every time I shop though
Fast, easy and saves me a ton of time. I place my order on my break at work then pick up on my lunch without having to run through the store. Such a great time saver
Cartwheel offers will not load. Keeps restarting asking for passwords. Coupons/ deals worked better when the apps were separate. Very frustrating.
I don't want this buggy app. BRING BACK THE CARTWHEEL APP!!! The design sucks. I can't find the cartwheel part of the app. Its the only part i use. The standalone app was way better than this major headache in the form of a target app. All i want is a simple way to get the coupons. Target listen to your customers!!!!!!
I like that it's with cartwheel now. The only thing that's ANNOYING is when you filter options for clothing, it doesn't filter anything. It still shows me all these out of stock clothes. What's the point of filtering what you want if that doesn't work. I don't even want to shop on the app anymore for clothes.
Trying to look up things to buy in store, very few pictures to go off of as well as inaccurate options. If I select the filter to apply in-store available items only, usually that's what I expect. But items that say "available in store" below their pic, you click on it, and then it says it's not available at all or delivery only...but not my location. I've probably wasted as much time fiddling with this garbage app as it would've taken me to drive there and still not find what I'm looking for. Why offer an app mostly composed of shipped items? Haven't you guys heard of Amazon?
This app is extremely easy to use, and streamlines the entire shopping process. The ability to toggle between Cartwheel and online makes it easy for you to go right on the website and order should the item in store not be in stock; while still allowing you to easily access the savings offered on Cartwheel. Excellent improvement!
This is a pain in the ass. Why couldn't you choose to stay with old one. I don't have a red card so big deal. Also now I have no app icon on my phone so I have to access Everytime through Google play. Thanks allot for NOTHING
The combined app is absolutely awful. I enabled the fingerprint log in to speed the process. It recognizes my fingerprint but takes me directly to the website and makes me sign in. What's the point? Plus, it doesn't have updated pricing. A week after Christmas and it is still showing the regular price on ALL Christmas clearance items. And if you tie your red card to it, you can't use cartwheel and any other payment options - it always charges your red card. UTTERLY WORTHLESS!
Really good, intuitive, able to go back without losing info. Only flaw, scanning of credit card virtually impossible; had to type in manually.
Love the ease of searching for coupons and cartwheel offers, and then scanning just once to use them and pay is great! Very beneficial to this mama who always has a kid fussing to get a move on
I've had this app for years and overall it works great. The only issue I have with it is trying to rate and review my purchases. It constantly redirects me and won't save my reviews.
I can't migrate my Cartwheel account to the new Target app. It keeps freezing on me. What a pain. I'll keep using the separate Cartwheel app instead. Edit: Finally got the accounts to merge. But now it makes me log in every time I go to wallet. The barcode scanner only works half the time and gives me error messages
I love this app! One thing I would love to see in apps like this is some sort of "honey do" list so I can just send my significant other the grocery list with everything that i already clipped or some sort of account link!
It took me a couple of days to get used to the new app, but i love it now. Having cartwheel I'm with everything else makes shopping easy.
Placing an order was GREAT and super EASY!!! ???? I love the added security Target installed on cards on file in that when shipping to another address for gift giving, the app makes you enter the card number again. This brings peace of mind to me. One thing I don't like ???? is the app insist on a zip code being entered when looking for another store. I wish I could enter a city and a map of other areas were available, if you don't know the ZIP code, ???? though in retrospect I do understand there are larger cities that will need a zip code like Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA for example.
I believe this app is so convenient! It makes it so easy to order things you don't want to waste your energy shopping for (especially when you have a couple toddlers). I have live the functionality and organization on this app...I can do everything from one place without having to go anywhere. It's been amazing to help me save and have coupons ect. I couldn't be more happy with this app! Keep it up guys!!!
I don't like the combined app. I'm using the scanner to look for coupons and see that what I'm holding in my hand is much cheaper online, so I order it online and wait the two hours for in-store pick up to save up to 20% on the same exact item I was holding in my hand when I ordered it. Just give me the online price without the hassle, or don't show me the other option. Also, I get two emails a day, every day - no exaggeration. That's way too many!
It asks me to log in every single time I need to use it at the checkout, which can be annoying if you are trying to remember your password while the people behind you and the cashier impatiently give you dirty looks. So either I have to try log in ahead of time, or have an easy to remember password that is not very secured at all.
I love the Target app! So easy to look through the ad, get coupons and search items and see if they're even in the store and what aisle. The only thing I miss from the old version of the app is the "list" feature where you could make your shipping list. But otherwise a fantastic app!
Why couldn't they just leave well enough alone? I cant ever use cartwheel because it says "oops ran into a problem and cant load that offer" for every offer I try to add. Signing in takes days because the app gets confused. Its nonsense. The only thing that works is the actual shopping and ordering thru the app but the payment process is glitchy and its overall a huge a disappointment for me
I loved this app until the latest update. Now I can't add products and it asks me for my password a lot. I can still scan items in the store but with a young child in tow, it is nice to be able to add the deals before I get to the store. The other weird thing it does is ask me for my fingerprint confirmation every time I try to add a cartwheel, which is fine, but then it jumps to the internet and back TWICE before saying "oops, we are having a hard time...try again.."
My wife turned me on to this app. I have to say....it's pretty cool! I'll be shopping this way a little more often.A big thumbs up for me. Five Stars! I still love to go to a store, but hey this is another option at times.... Happy New Year!
The original app worked great. The new one never signs in right and takes forever to get to the right screen. It fails to sign in even when the password is entered by a password app. I have to copy and paste the password from the password app. Needs to be able to automatically sign in on my phone, since I'm not worried about losing it.
I love having the Target app combined with the Cartwheel and also being able to add coupons. My only complaint, is that I wish I could sort my shopping list. It would be so much easier to have all the refrigerated stuff together, the freezer isle stuff together and so on!
The bar code reader does not work on my lg-v10 with the newest version. I couldn't look up anything in the store. Waste of time and very frustrating. Spent hours on the phone with customer service trying to fix an inability to sign in, and even now that it's fixed I still have to sign in every time I use the app
I find this app quite useful, both for picking out stuff to buy in the store — with or without Cartwheel — and for ordering things online that I want delivered to my home. I just ordered some things for delivery, used my Redcard and saved money — just like I do in the store. That Redcard is great.

I finally caved and got the app because I have 4 small kids and using the drive up would be fabulous. And it is only available through the app. Except it's not. It's only available with the iPhone app, not the Android app. Which is stupid. So, yeah, I'm not impressed.
