Sensor Ex for Android
Proximity light compass and other sensor not showing..... Only two sensor display .
For robotics, but doesn't have linux client?
Optimiz hmmmm?
Doesn't work on xp
Sample rate too low
Application doesn't work with Windows tried on multiple computers and multiple phones
I have installed the PC client on win 7 but the system doesn't work. On my android device side I can't find the other Wifi devices and on the PC side the Local IP and the Device IP are not detected. Would you please give some helps!
Took a dozen tries to get it to connect to my PC. Finally it found the PC, even though I did nothing different. But that might not be the dev's fault. PC Logging works great at high speed when the window is in its small default size, but as soon as you maximize it, the logging rate plummets to once every 2 seconds. I have a very powerful PC, so it must have been programmed in a high-level language like VB or something to be that slow. But then I realise it only supports two sensors: Acceleration and orientation. I needed to use the light sensor! Oh well. I guess this app isn't for me.
I like this app very much..I wish if you can make it send Serial Data Via Bluetooth PC Client need administrator permission to run on windows 7, 8 just right click and run as administrator.. and when firewall prompt appears just allow it to add exception. one more thing the ip address detection is not working right
The application sounds great,, but the PC client does not work on my computer (Win 7 64 bit).
Great app! Couple of suggestions. Labview support would be extremely helpful! It would also be great if the phone side could time stamp the data when it's sent to the PC. It's hard to get a true indicator of the actual sensor data rate as it currently stands. For those with an issue launching the windows application. Try running the app in administrator mode. That fixed it for me. Thanks!
This is a great app that displays smartphone sensors with a decent refresh rate. Even more powerful is the fact that the sensor data can be accessed wirelessly via a PC and displayed. This was just the job for me as I wanted to use the app to do a class demonstration of acceleration and forces, while projecting the results on screen. Needed some help in getting my phone and PC to communicate. The developer gave excellent and prompt help. Would thoroughly recommend this app!
The PC client doesn't work for me. My laptop is running Windows 8 and I found the local IP detected by this client is wrong.
Nice program, thanks. I'd also like to see a new feature of GPS data being sent to the PC.
Very handy for postprocesing the sensor data. The aim for Linux computers is not yet fulfilled :) . Couldn't select colors for graphs. HTCOne
I have been trying to run the simulink file with no success. It always shows no devices. I configures the simulink block with the same device as my cellphone
PC app would not run on my Win7 computer. No temperature sensor data on my GalaxyS4 phone (the main data I was after). My quest to find an app that will stream temperature data over wifi (to use old phones as wifi data loggers) continues.
I have tried the MATLAB simulink as well as GUI model. I followed the instruction shown on website. But when i run android app, it don't detect the client IP (Device IP by MATLAB on PC). Can you help me for MATLAB connection? Thank you.
amazing app
Great app!
The application works as promised. After contacting the developer he responded within minutes and the PC app is working now as well (thank you). Excellent communication with the developer, well done. -F
