About Chaos Control: GTD Organizer & Task List Manager

Chaos Control was created to help you manage your goals, to-do lists and tasks in both your business and personal life.

People don't usually achieve impressive results simply by being good at task management. It's the ability to set legitimate goals that makes the difference. Just write down your desired outcomes to make them real. This simple technique helps you to prioritize your goals before acting on them.

Chaos Control is a task manager based on the best ideas of GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology created by David Allen. Whether you are running a business, launching an app, working on a project or simply planning your holiday trip, Chaos Control is a perfect tool to manage your goals, juggle your priorities, and organize your tasks to get things done. And the best part is, you can handle both heavyweight project planning and simple daily routine like shopping list management in one flexible app. Also, Chaos Control is available across all major mobile and desktop platforms with seamless sync.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

1) MANAGE YOUR PROJECTS
Project is a goal combined with a set of tasks you need to complete in order to achieve it. Create as many projects as you like to write down all the desired outcomes you have

2) ORGANIZE YOUR GOALS
Create unlimited number of projects and group them by category using Folders

3) USE GTD CONTEXTS
Organize tasks from different projects using flexible context lists. If you are familiar with GTD you would just love this feature

4) PLAN YOUR DAY
Set due dates for tasks and make plans for any particular day

5) USE CHAOS BOX
Put all the incoming tasks, notes and ideas into Chaos Box in order to process them later. It works similar to GTD inbox, but you can use it as a simple to-do list

6) SYNC YOUR DATA
Chaos Control works on both desktop and mobile devices. Setup an account and sync your projects across all of your devices

This app is designed with creative people in mind. Designers, writers, developers, startup founders, entrepreneurs of all kinds and pretty much anyone with ideas and desire to make them happen. We combined the power of GTD with the convenient interface to help you with:
☆ personal goal setting
☆ task management
☆ time management
☆ planning your business and personal activities
☆ building your routine
☆ handling simple to do lists, checklists and shopping lists
☆ catching your ideas and thoughts to process them later

KEY FEATURES

I do not do reviews but phenomenal app. Great for work or personal stuff. Very easy to learn and use. Showed it to the Senior project manager and asked him to try it. He has switched as well as the 4 others. Even the kids like it. Not a big app purchaser but will be getting the computer version.

(1) Came back after a few years and nothing has changed. (2) still can't attach multiple contexts. What do you do when you have a task for two or three different contexts? Just duplicate the task three times? (3) where do I see all over due-time tasks now at a glance apart from due today tasks?!?

K70%
by K####:

I was browsing the organizational apps and found the one that matches how I need things laid out. I love the folders for projects option, because I'm a student so I need separate classes but I'm also working on actual projects too. The only suggestions I'd make are maybe have one quick link to look at all overdue things and another for "no due date" things...and a dark mode option. Or I guess color options in general would be good because of color coding. But overall I'm immediately in love with this app.

Terrible app, I'd like a refund of my £6.49! Firstly you need a degree in computer programming to set customised reminders (i.e. Only on certain days of the month) then they either fail to go off or there is no snooze function. Extremely restrictive and fed up of being told to purchase the desktop version. Uninstalling now and will continue to use my phones default calendar and reminder app for free. Don't waste your time or money!

The only thing I can really see missing is the ability to assign tasks to different users. I'd like to use this app in our business, it makes so much sense. So my suggestion is to share other users in on a project and assign tasks to them. Their daily schedule would be a combination of their own tasks and assigned tasks.

Z70%
by Z####:

The app seemed good for everyday tasks, but when I tried to make my yoga tasks repeeting weekly, in different days of the week for each program, the app put all of the programs for every day just for one week, then nothing. It seems like bugs: the function to repeat tasks doesn't work correctly for weekly repeating, put automatically due dates and time, change task settings and now, after many attempts to handle it, it rang all the time and after it lost the ring notifications to the weekly repeating tasks. What a drag! Please fix it

K70%
by K####:

I think this app is very good however, it would be 5 stars if I could set up a weekly schedule where I can put in my classes instead of just recurring tasks

K70%
by K####:

The only thing I don't like so far is that the widget stops working periodically. Other than that, it is a great app for scheduling projects and tasks.

K70%
by K####:

Hi there, good app overall, it could be even better if you could add the Google calendar data to it, this way Chaos Control would be the only go-to app for schedule organising.

One issue I bought the premium but it will not let me download the premium app, which is a bit confusing since I paid for it. Other than that it's a great tool that helps me daily

Very bad ... i lost my work twice 7 months ago and today after i reinstalled. Fake backup i give up on this app.

Have trailed many many apps over the years. Hands down the best. Moving forward, would love if you could 'cut and paste' projects and tasks, and have the option to create folders, projects and tasks any time at will rather than to have to follow the succession.

I think this app has its uses to help people like me get the many tasks they need to accomplish taken care of for the day so they do not forget.

Awesome app to manage any kind and number of activities in your life. So far the best I've seen

Just started using and I like the app. Since the desktop is so much more expensive shouldn't it include the phone app to sync? Maybe it does and I'm reading it wrong? What's the point of buying the premium app if you can't sync to the computer without buying the desktop version and vice versa.

I think I got charged twice for the mobile app. It didn't recognize that I'd paid for it previously. Please check. It's only $7 but ...Can I change to a larger font? Can barely read it. Just getting started so I don't have a good idea yet. I'll get back to you once I have some experience.

Replaces paper and pen, lets me remember things in order or by project. Please make the check boxes bigger, it's such a small target!

Drains battery to fast. Need to customize sync function to limit data usage.

D70%

Great app syncs well. Would be five star if when opening the chaos box you could just write down your ideas without having to assign them right there. being able to just create a list of ideas before assigning them putting them in context when doing a weekly review.

K70%
by K####:

The home screen widget is too limited. Only 2 options, Chaos Box and Due Today. I'd really like to see my Contexts list as an optional default view in the widget. Using the GTD method, I like to see all tasks I can get done when a particular context is appropriate. Having a quick way right from my devices home screen to select a context from the list to see all related tasks, without having to open the app and select Contexts from the menu, that would be awesome. Also, I try to launch the app on my Android Wear smartwatch and all I get is a spinning circle that vanishes quickly and I go right back to the watch home screen. The app never opens on the watch. Fix these 2 things and you will get 5 stars from me. But until then, 3 is all I can give.
