Geotag Photos Pro 1

Used it several times in the big city and also remote regions. Never any question about accuracy unless you are indoors. Tagged all photos very quickly. Excellent support. Got a correct answer to my question in less than 24 hours. Would recommend this app to anyone who wants accurately tagged photos. Since the app also produces a GPX file I can add it to Endomondo as well.

This is a great app and does the job If you're a photographer or you just want to tag your snapshots so you remember where you took them time and date etc. and you ain't got it get it Go for pro well worth it. Unless you want to pay a stupid price for the top brand item which in my opinion is not as good and a rip off Ray (Pro photographer)

Great app, but since I let it run all the time, it would be really great if it automatically starts recording after a reboot and uploads positions every day - then you get 5 stars :)

It would be great to have a option to select if you were driving, bike, walking - I stayed within a grave yard (walking slowly), but it tagged me up to 2 blocks out if it during that time (walking mode should limit the distance amount/data check and compare to insure it is correct. It would also be great to have the option of having it sound off everytime it updated it's geo location successfuly. Other than those two features, this is a great solution and substitute to the $100+ camera addon options, and has worked well. A little more accurate, and the additions listed above, and I'd give it 10 stars! Thanks

I always wanted to have the locations saved in trip pictures, and hated to do it manually. GPS trackers for DSLRs are expensive and big, but this app does it all simply and automatically. And the best: you always have your phone with you, there's no need for an extra camera accessory. The highlight for me is how easily and fast you insert the data in your pictures: upload the data with one button on the phone, connect your SD card to the computer and run the java app. That's it, in a matter of seconds you have it done. Recommend it.

Did a lot of time to record GPS signal. Drained battery. I finally used Google Tracks + Nikon ViewNX (both free) to record LIVE my path and record data to my photos. The good thing is that google refunded my money!

I paid for and downloaded this app because I saw it had a drop box integration. But after opening the app I can't find any Dropbox login anywhere. It looked so easy on YouTube and in the pictures and I can't get the pictures to integrate with the map! It says the pictures are tagged, but I can't see the tag or view them on a map. NEED REFUND!

This app can be completely replaced by any gps logging navigator (like Osmand) and a free geotagging program, like gpsPhoto.pl. Not only is it not worth $4, but their offline geotagging app is completely broken on Linux.

I have a Canon 60D. This is an excellent solutions! Setting up the account is easy and smooth. App works well on my Nexus 5, and is really easy to use. The free desktop works well on my Windows 8 pro machine :-)

Although I have only used this a couple of times so far it has worked well and I've been very pleased with it. It is very nice that a lite version is available to check it works with your combination of equipment. If you buy a copy it is only a small price when you consider the the costs of the system and the added location functionality is very nice to be able to add so easily.

Any update that we can geotag directly on to the photos using tablet or phone would be better. Nowadays i wpuld take photos and back them up using my phone.

It doesn't use up my data or battery, keeps running in my pocket set at 2 minute intervals, easy to email the track when done, a synch to geotag photos with the GPX track in Lightroom. I just love it.

I tried all the free apps I could find including Osmand mentioned below and GPS Logger, they either didn't work or weren't thag accuirate. So I bought this app and it was spot on. Worth buying.

My wife and I travel a lot and I always take a lot of photos. I hate it when I get home and can not remember exactly where I took a photo from. I thought about purchasing a geotracking device for my camera, but big bucks! On our last RV trip through Arizona and New Mexico I tried Geotag Photos to keep track of where I took each photo and it worked perfectly. I uploaded the tracking files using Lightroom and it flawlessly uploaded the position of each photo. I had one issue of not being able to figure out how to upload the files to Dropbox and emailed my issue and had a response within a few hours. Great service. So far, I really like the app and would recommend it to those who use Lightroom to organize their photos.

One of the best app's I own, which gets used on an almost daily basis to geotag photo's taken in area's with no phone signal. It's a cheap solution that simply works.

Export to email will not work. Apparently only workking to secure iphone market.

I have used this tool for a couple of years now to track where I take my photographs. The interface is sophisticated without needless options and having it work with the "cloud" and matching PC app makes applying the GPS information to your image files a very simple operation. While I have this app on my phone, I wouldn't ever bother with buying a camera with GPS - save your money and spend it on a new lens!

Even with optimum settings,consistently poor accuracy. HTC Sensation. Pro version.

Sure there other ways to accomplish geo tagging of images, but this app just does it all so neatly, conveniently and quickly. The data-logging app on the Android phone is very easy to set up and use in the field, and the Java web app that actually updates the image EXIF data on your PC works a treat. The Pro version is worth every cent! Installed on a Motorola MB525 & used with PSE9 on a T500 laptop.

Easy to use. Keeps searching for gps signal when drop outs happen. Software easy to use. All photos tagged. I've bought two other Gps taggers and three other phone apps. This beats them all.

My app not working .I could not use it one time, always shows that my password is wrong. Contacted customer service but no reply

Your phone's GPS receiver/antenna are major limitations to how well it tracks. One must always factor that in. What makes this app awesome is that it truly doesn't waste your battery keeping the GPS on all the time. Very simple interface which makes it harder to screw up.

I've used this app multiple times and it makes adding in GPS information into photos a breeze.
