What are users saying about Blip for xkcd

T70%
by T####:

Pixel XL running 7.1.1. Very regularly opens to a blank screen with no options.

J70%
by J####:

Best xkcd experience.

Q70%
by Q####:

What it's missing is a way to read the explanation inside the app. A way to save images would also be nice, as would an option to preload images for offline viewing. The transcript buttons don't always match the comic so that should be fixed.

S70%
by S####:

Minor localization nitpick though: there's no u in 'favorites' in US English. That's really the only complaint I can come up with. It's awesome.

W70%
by W####:

I would be just little happier if there were full comics on card previews (not just cropped pic, but whole pic if possible)

Q70%
by Q####:

Every time I use this app I feel inspired to find other comic apps with a similar UX. Alas, there seem to be no others.

Q70%
by Q####:

Also, great idea to use the transcripts for searching!

Q70%
by Q####:

I cannot search

Q70%
by Q####:

Settings - It should say "Spoilerize" ?

Q70%
by Q####:

The app is beautifully designed and is a winner but when run on Android 6.0.1, it irreversibly crashes and there was nothing to do expect uninstalling the app.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great idea, but I agree with everyone else. Downloading all of them at startup isn't the way to do it. It seems better to just load them when needed and possibly cache them as loaded

K70%
by K####:

This app is seriously the most amazing xkcd experience. Search is phenomenal, not sure why no one else has used transcripts. Hats off to you, dev. The only thing that could be improved is better zooming on very large comics, I find that there is a zoom limit or something and they seem blurry.

Y70%
by Y####:

Keeps improving with each update!

P70%
by P####:

Crashes when I press the back button though. Phone - Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (rogers)

I70%
by I####:

The initial load is brutal, IMO you should be batching requests or adding search an optional download later on. Otherwise the UI is great!

V70%
by V####:

Initial 2MB download is excruciatingly slow

Y70%
by Y####:

Maybe add a night mode? Also pull to refresh on random would be awesome.

Hey, nice app, however I'd love to see support for what if getting implemented.

Looks amazing so far.
