My TANITA – Healthcare App for Android
Terrible app still doesn't sync with any of my 4 devices! Do not buy the Tanita scales if you are on Android. I am going to seek a refund after spending over £150
I have never got a Tanita Android app to work. It won't even sync over Bluetooth. The scales are a very expensive waste of money for me.
After few days that application was unable to connect to scale now it seems to work. The major disadvantage is that application can not export data
Update the app so can connect to the expensive device I bought from you!!
Love the app. Have a work iPhone so was able to get the 901 working. Would love to have the Android version supporting that.
You can't add more than 4 profiles. Pure settings
It doesn't sync with my scales so cant track my stats
Good...
My app has just stopped working after working perfectly for weeks . Now will not even open
Now, ready for Android 7.1. Thanks for the update
Just change the day on you'er D.O.B and it will all work as it should. It is working great now. A little problem for the first week but the team at tanita where responsive and very helpfull and reasuring. Does what it says on the tin. The app needs a little update but over all it works.
The app doesn't connect to my RD-901. It's useless without this functionality.

Highly limited application, needs to be enriched with basic features and better results presentation functionality immediately. It appears that the designers of this app do not actually own any Tanita products, otherwise they would have not published this. This app limits the usability of great devices such as the RD-545 scale. There is no way to save the data, there is no way to extract the data and the presentation of the data (UI) is lacking - the graphical results initially produced are lost and cannot be retrieved. Data exchange and synchronization with other applications is a joke. RD-545 produces 20 different metrics and the app just exchanges your weight! If your phone gets lost or damaged the data of all those metrics will be lost as it is not linked with an online account. The app developers did not even bother to allow data sharing through email, the only options are Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. What are they thinking?? Tanita home devices used to be able to interact with great specialized apps like Garmin Connect, now new devices just connect to this purely designed application. What is the point of having a state of the art scale at home if we cannot access the results produced in a usable and meaningful manner? Ask ACTUAL users of Tanita products for the most necessary features they expect to have available in the app and implement them.
