dataDex - Pokédex for Pokémon

Beautiful. I almost upgraded to pro version after looking on how presentable the info about pokemon moves, evolution, items, etc were laid out but I noticed that it lacks a lot of features I've seen from other pokedex app such as IV/EV calculator, Map(encouter rate info), Gym Leaders and Team builder. They are also half the price of the pro version of this app. I'd say I'll just try to endure getting ads for now and see if they would add the said features. If they do, I'd definitely upgrade to pro and change my rating to 5.

I dont normally pay for apps but for this I did. Totally worth it. One suggustion which i would like to see in future updates. Under locations it would be great to add the % encounter rate along with special titles (bubbles, shadows etc etc). Also add whether a pokemon can only be encountered by SOS battle. While this app helped me greatly complete my pokedex i still had to go on a web browser to know those details. All in and all great app!

This app is really useful and great for Pokemon fans like me. Great interface and user-friendly. But, I wish that the next can include the following features.It will be even better! 1.Team list and team strengths and weaknesses coverage. 2.Multiple move search. (etc. simultaneously search for Pokemon that can learn Cut, Scald and Night slash) 3.Dual type Pokemon search. (Add it at Type Dex would be useful by showing Pokemon with the inputed types at Type Dex besides the damage dealt.) 4.Add sprites for Items Dex. I wish my review will be replied and be taken into account. (If possible)

It's good but almost perfect, just few minor things, personally: - Some things like Rowley say row as 'row row row your boat' not 'row' as in 'wow'. Also it says found in iki town in sun but nothing about moon, just minor things like this - Would love for it to talk slower so when there is a commer or full stop, it actually pauses. - Would be amazing if you could make it speak like the original dexter... This is my personal thing, childhood and all that. Other than that it's a well made app, please reply so I know this is read.

Was almost perfect, but the search function is missing when you have "show caught pokemon only." Beautiful, smooth, great usable interface, great search function! THIS is how the in game pokedex SHOULD BE! Love it, thanks so much! HOWEVER, the one thing this app needs to improve, is the pokemon location. Instead of having to click through each game version, it should be similar to bulbapedia.

Best Pokedex app and I've checked them all out. Best part about this one is you don't really need to upgrade to get features unlocked, even though I upgraded to pro in order to support the dev, plus dark mode is worth it by itself. Edit: Doesn't have all the pokemon locations so far only found this problem in red and blue filter...

Great so far. However, there's one thing I'm missing (and may have just overlooked). I want to select all my caught Pokemon and be able to see a list of just what I'm missing. It would help a ton with working on my live dex.

Very useful app, brilliant design. I've had it about a year now - but I've found for the second time running that my caught list keeps deleting itself every few months?? Annoying for those of us trying to build a live dex. I have hundreds caught but have to go back through to mark them all to keep track..

This such an amazing app. Great design, extremely simple to use, almost everything I need is here, the ads aren't constantly in my face, etc. I hope you could add a team team builder (with moves, items, etc.) or a Pokemon comparing thing soon. Thanks for the amazing app!

Best pokedex ever. Mad props to the dev. I have the paid version. Many pokedex makers don't even offer a paid version bc they wanna milk that ad revenue, not this dev. It's a beautiful app, very well thought out 10/10 recommend.

It shows new generation stats, types and attack types for old generation games. For example; fairy type doesn't exists in old games so it's showing wrong information. Same for stats and attack informations. It shows wrong dmg and acc in description. On top of this it needs national and regional dex split. I'll pay for it if they fix these issues.

This is the best pokedex app I've ever used, the only problem I have is when I look up pokemon like Gardevoir that has had the type changed in later games. Gardevoir is listed as a psychic/fairy type even if it's looked up in the ruby, sapphire and emerald pokedexs. So my suggestion is to have the pokemon's type change for the game that it's being looked up for, so the listed type weaknesses are accurate.

I quite enjoy using this app. It's very useful. Would like it if you could select a type from a pokemon's page and have a pop-up for type advantages/weaknesses, like you can get a pop-up for ability and move descriptions. Also noticed that if you move from one pokemon to another by clicking someone in their evolutionary tree and then click the pokemon you were just looking at via the tree, your moves (learn/tm, etc) double (+1 for every time you do this) and you'll see duplicates. Just a little bug.

This is the best Pokèdex I've ever Downloaded... this thing had everything. Starting From the Moves until the Items...

It is really great except for one kind of major flaw. It has almost zero information on gold, silver, or crystal. Other than that all info has been completely accurate and useful.

I've never liked an app so much I wrote a review for it. This is the best Pokédex app available. Developers are doing a great job. It is so organized and useful. I cannot make a single complaint.

Very detailed and informative but if it had an EV guide on pokemon and damage calculator where you can compare pokemon and potential opponent pokemon that is the only bad thing I can say otherwise it's clean and gives a great tutorial to use the app. Great app just try to add some more stuff that can work for the competitive scene.

This is definitely a useful app and I do appreciate the effort put into this but I can't help but notice a few oddities such as legendary Pokemon locations only show up if viewing the ORAS or SM info on the Pokemon and doesn't show locations on any of the older games, and oricorio's gender ratio is wrong and the app claims it's 75% male 25% female and it's actually the other way around. However aside from a few selective and incorrect information it still is a very useful offline app

Would love to see more pro features, the search bubble doesn't show up if you're caught/uncaught list is small. Pictures of the items in item list would be nice and helpful

Good at what it does, but the option to buy the premium version doesn't do anything. I want to purchase it to get rid of the ads but I guess I'm stuck with them.

This is literally the best pokedex on the Google app store. Very good interface, responsive and up to date. I can sense a lot of hardwork that went into designing this app. Bro keep it up

The best Pokedex I've ever used- the aesthetic is on point and the features are expansive. Mad props. Another awesome way I could see this dex being utilized would be having some kind of widget, maybe you could select up to six Pokemon to be displayed in the widget, maybe one. It's so great looking I want to be able to have it as part of my home screen setup!

Pretty solid app for quick reference to current info. Would really like a way to see legacy info when looking at older game entries-- like Clefairy wasn't fairy type in Gen2 so it would be nice to see the accurate legacy info if I wanted to look at that instead of the updated current info...

Definitely a fun app to play around with. Would definitely go great with a Pokemon themed case for your phone and even a cosplay. The only thing missing from this app is an entry for Missingno.

It was good but now there are bugs in it. I can't see the levels they need to be to evolve and other stuff isn't showing up on it now after the update.

Brilliant app. The interface is gorgeous, it is informative, lighting fast, and all around a stellar app. I cannot recommend this enough. One very small qualm with an otherwise perfect app: There is no team builder. I would love to see one. Other than that, this is the best Pokedex app on the market.

Okay first and foremost.. The voice recognition on this app is absolutely to die for itself. Being able to just say the Pokemons names instead of typing it helps with those quick on the spot battles or encounters.

Loved it. . .its my favorite. It was released on 1996 the year i was born and i played this game i think since i was 4 on the year 2000 and until now im still playing it. . . Tnx to this app i get to know all the pokemon. . . And pls add this when you click on the pic. Of the pokemon it should go fullscreen. . .i really want to see it very close i just love this app. . . Pls add it pls. . .

Very very good I really want this type of application but it will be more better if we can play battles to the type of Pokémon we wants and try how much we know moves of our chosen Pokémon , thnx for making this amazing app

It's probably the best pokédex available for Android. However, I would love to be able to sort the list by things other than Dex Number, and an IV Calculator would make this definitively the best Pokédex app.

This is by far the best pokedex app I have ever used, has all the info I could possibly want! Beautiful design and smart layout. Bought the pro version (just adds a dark theme, removes adds) just to support the developer!

Its not doing anything except bringing up a white screen with their logo,nothing ever loads. I think it's the Japanese keeping me away from egg moves

The only issue is that I paid for the pro version, and now I'm getting adds again and told to upgrade to pro. I wouldn't even care that much if I could even upgrade to pro again, but it won't even let me do that.

I love this app!! it's my go to Pokedex app. however I think you guys should implement a more detailed description of HOW to catch the Pokemon, in the locations under the +more section. like, specify (surfing) or (fishing) or (grass) or (SOS Pokemon), stuff like that! I think it'd help a lot.

Its really good But can you please change the voice of the pokedex entry she speaks to fast and It be cool if you could add a few voices to it Love the pokedex voice in Ash's pokedex in the old anime Also can you make the pokedex entry more longer to describe the Pokémon

I am not given one star because you missed one thing you showed all extra and female forms of pokemon but you missed the female pyroar

I like very much Pokemon but I don't know which types they are and which generations they belongs to so i install this app and I can know which generation and this is a wonderful app to know about pokemons abilities where we can get them including the route numbers and including the weakness and which they can deafet easily

There are still some problems, I saw that Gallade didn't learn moves in any way when I was looking at the Platinum version

This app looks gorgeous and it's very useful, but it would be good for it to add some Pokemon go compatibility.
